- deathBOB, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That article made me sleepy...
- AdverseE, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I think all sleep articles can be pared down to 'get more sleep, you'll feel better.' Which is opposite the message of Corporate America, which is 'work more, and spend more so don't go to sleep. You can neither work nor spend money while sleeping.'
- dbr_onix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Noone complaining this isn't even remotely tech-related? (Well, slightly-remotely.. But thats not the point! :P)
- Ben - Ruckgesicht, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Good stuff, actually knows the facts. Now I can rebutt my mom when she says I'm lazy for taking naps.
- foohookups311, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Sleep articles never get old for me. I love reading them and then I love wishing I got more sleep last night. Well so much for sleep 4 hours last night and taking a test on SQL later today. Wish me luck!
- Nullifidian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Some of their "opinions" are just subjective viewpoints culled from numerous sleep studies. Coming to any concrete conclusion about sleep is like saying you know why we dream. The two are integrated and cannot be pulled apart. That's the only answer that I have at this time.
That and I could use a nap. - bwmiller72, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Sleep?
- JamesWilson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Uhh here's how sleeping works... you stay awake awhile..you get tired..then you want to pass out. Duh. Jeez people. :p (jk)
- Aard88, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I highly suggest this article to anyone who needs some sleep.
- punkrock4life, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0finally something intelligent on digg!
- bernander, on 10/13/2008, -0/+0I found a good online version of supermemo, crammage.com. Looks kind of boxy, but works well and has decent content.
- AuAndCs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Myth: Being late for school is bad. Fact: Kids who persistently cannot wake up for school should he left alone. Their fresh mind and health are far more important. Parents who regularly punish their kids for being late for school should immediately consult a sleep expert as well as seek help in attenuating the psychological effects of the trauma resulting from the never ending cycle of stress, sleepiness and punishment"
^Good advice! - windwaker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Some of that is wrong, actually. LESS SLEEP ISN'T NECESSARILY BAD. It's just how you're sleeping (Sure, you'll be more rested after a nine hour rest as opposed to a two hour rest, but you can live very healthily on twenty minute naps every four hours).
- JayRod, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Sleep? Who needs sleep? You can make up for lost sleep the day you die, then you can sleep all you want. That's why we have Starbucks.
- sedgemonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There's some interesting stuff in here, but it seems like a lot of this article is speculation using exaggerated arguments.
- Korivak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's nice to see an article about sleep on Digg that doesn't involve sleeping only four hours a day or living a 28 hour day. As someone that was forced in to an unusual sleep schedule by work, I can say that for me, getting enough sleep on a regular schedule is the single biggest factor in being happy, healthy and sane.
- gizram84, on 05/30/2009, -1/+0how about we stop with these sleeping articles...i go to bed when i'm tired and i wake up when i wake up....unless i have something to do early (work). anything other than that is just stupid.
- kyle133, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Have a look at this...
http://www.milliondollarhero.com - robotplague, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0There's been a ton of sleeping articles that have made it on the front page lately....no digg.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0intresting..
