Giant Squid Invades Coast of California
crazyfishermansblog.blogspot.c… — A study was just released by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute about the Humboldt squid migrating to the California coast. This species of squid grows up to 7 feet long, can weigh up to 100 pounds, and hunts in packs of hundreds. Over the last five years it has moved from equatorial waters and is now found near San Diego and Los Angeles.
