- Klepto21, on 11/06/2007, -1/+17yes, Gwelf, since it's French. If it was German it would be "Goolpf", and if it was English it'd be "Howyousaydat".
- Jazzillion, on 11/06/2007, -2/+11I'm struggling with the overwhelming irony that I am reading an article about assisting in habit change on Digg.com to assist me with my habit of getting distracted online and thus reading articles on Digg.com.
/heads explodes - silverchrysalis, on 11/05/2007, -1/+6swallow silly putty
- ipaiba, on 11/06/2007, -2/+7It's pronounced Gwelf!
- Kenzan, on 11/06/2007, -0/+4This article is lame.
I quit crack, heroin, drinking, meth, smoking, procrastination, gambling, overeating, sloth, and I now exercise 22 hours a day, and eat oxygen for all my meals with my sparkling clean life. I did it all in ONE day at the same time and I am now a billionaire with a harem.
I'm so awesome that even Jesus is all like: "Daaaaaaaaamn!"
You are all pathetically weak and worthless worms.
You all make me sick.
- BassMastr, on 11/06/2007, -1/+4I found it easier to change several habits all at once. When I tried to change them one at a time it was very similar to my old life style so it was easy to start doing the same things I was doing before. When I changed everything all at once...it forced me to change my entire life so it was hard to fall back into old patterns b/c everything else in my life was so different. My point is...different strokes for different folks...The real key is REALLY WANTING to change
- asdfuiop, on 11/06/2007, -2/+5Damn, I was hoping for 5 Habit-Changing Hacks
- d2002, on 11/06/2007, -3/+6How do you pronounce "Guelph"?
- inactive, on 11/06/2007, -2/+4most of my habits break violently, for example, a short illness breaking an eating habit.

2. *Keep* doing it. - curios, on 11/05/2007, -0/+1recomended book reading - The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, by Stephen Covey, which the article is clearly inspired by.
- AbeVigoda, on 11/07/2007, -0/+1nice
- inactive, on 11/05/2007, -0/+1#1...don't go by anything zenhabits.com says.
- TheMachine1, on 11/06/2007, -0/+0Same lame stuff you heard a million times. The first one is worth
repeating. Which I will simply as the more things you simultaneously try to change the more likely you get nothing done. I've heard before it might
take a year for a new habit to become more or less permanent feature of your routine(like brushing your teeth). - spherepet, on 11/05/2007, -0/+0Just when you thought you had the answers you really needed,, along comes OOPS! Now it is something else I have to think about and do all by myself. Hm.
