Dr. Ian Malcolm: God creates dinosaurs. God destroys dinosaurs. God creates man. Man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs...
awesome! I always wanted to take that Jurasic park jeep ride! - infra172, on 10/12/2007, -4/+22Retarded fish frog.

EVERYONE KNOWS DINOSAURS WERE CREATED BY SATAN TO TEST YOUR FAITH!!! - the_d, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12Can anyone say dinosaur coats?
They might be a little stiff though... - netdroid9, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10Does this mean the next Jurassic park *won't* involve frog DNA?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Maybe it's made from the same stuff as Twinkies?
- steveoco, on 10/12/2007, -7/+13Oh my science.
- fernando26, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6With cookies off, there is no way to get past the damn flash ad. It displays, then refreshes and starts displaying again.
Booo!!! @ sites that require cookies - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Actually impressions of dino skin are known from several specimens already, e.g.
http://www.gavinrymill.com/dinosaurs/dinosaur-skin-impressions.html
To that should be added the 5-6 dinosaurs found with preserved feathers (yes, feathers. Birds *are* dinosaurs), for instance this:
http://www.exn.ca/Stories/1998/01/08/03.asp - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5The skin isn't preserved, the look and coarse structure of it is preserved, but the actual biological material has been replaced with minerals (it's "made of rock"). The same goes for pretty much all fossils, it is extremely rare that any biological material is preserved unaltered for more than a few million years.
- Dimensio, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3"amazing shock horror 65million year old tissue sample to evolutionist"
The find is not a tissue sample. The find is the fossilized remains of a bit of tissue, not the tissue itself.
"old dinosaur skin sample to the creationist"
I suspect that many creationists will not pay attention to the actual find and will falsely claim that actual skin was found, "proving" that the sample cannot be millions of years old. This is because creationists do not do any research and many of them are shameless, brazen liars. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3All i see is Flash advertising, something about "Discover Channel is blah blah"...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I see no flash ad. I have cookies enabled. Opera 9 on XP.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2how could they recognize that as a dinosaur O_o
- CygnusX1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Unless of course you're a Snuffleupagus.
- shakin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2It isn't dinosaur skin anymore, it's rock. Fossilization is when organic matter turns to rock. It's the same process as with bones, but it's less likely to happen because skin and flesh rot away very quickly. They only fossilize when the circumstances are just right for quicker fossilization and longer skin preservation (eg. if the skin is frozen).
- SVPirate, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Coo, it's not the first time this has been found, but still very good stuff. I just hope this one has some feathers ;o)
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The big dinosaurs probably didn't have feathers, as they will have been able to maintain an even body temperature anyway (and probably had more problem cooling down than keeping warm). It's the same for mammals, big ones tend to not have fur coats.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Oh come on, that was funny!
- goerg, on 10/12/2007, -6/+7they found it in "hell creek"... this can't be a coincidence...amen
- liveinabin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1There are loads of Dino skin examples around the world. London's Natural History Museum has quite a few pieces.
- jbeardsl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Thank god someone does. :/
- overbyte, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1i suspect a lot of stuff however without even asking someone i suspect, i suspect that what i suspect is just something i suspect
don't use imagination, don't use belief - just tell me the facts and let me make my own mind up - overbyte, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1amazing shock horror 65million year old tissue sample to evolutionist
old dinosaur skin sample to the creationist
why the need for yet another pointless debate that convinces absolutely noone
gg - custerfluck, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1i get jokes +1
- DJosephDesign, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2Wow. How could dinosaur skin be preserved for 67 million years? Hmm.
- iheartspain, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2sweet
- cogitocogito, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2My first thought was what bonuses dino skin armor would provide. Yes, I loathe myself.
- oblongmouth, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3and another.
i'm not going to do this ad infinitum, just so you know. - happyperson, on 10/12/2007, -15/+9insert boring Darwinists / Creationist argument here...

- jbeardsl, on 10/12/2007, -13/+4Scientists analyzing the dinosaur in the lab were quoted, saying "This is a UNIX system! I know this!". Calls for comment from HRH Steve Ballmer were not returned.
- jutl, on 10/12/2007, -12/+2Funny - it seems to be an aloof and content-free comment.
