- Stormwern, on 05/12/2009, -10/+527The world needs more PSA's like this.
- enevitable, on 05/13/2009, -9/+423It's too bad closed-minded people wont watch this.
- ghatid, on 05/13/2009, -8/+361dugg because he has an accent making it 100% more believable.
- Tmac90, on 05/12/2009, -15/+320I really hate it when I purpose something and another person tells me it's just stupid and will not give me reasons why they think it is stupid. They just say it's stupid just because.
- banderwocky, on 05/12/2009, -13/+313Nicely presented.
- gridbread, on 05/13/2009, -6/+304People need to watch this before using the internet.
- ChrisYager, on 05/13/2009, -7/+240Is it close-minded to think everything is sexier with the right accent?
- Gr00ver, on 05/13/2009, -4/+231That's just stupid.
- CyclonusRIP, on 05/13/2009, -0/+221No they'll watch it and assume he isn't talking about them being closed minded.
- inactive, on 05/13/2009, -12/+179I approve of this video.

- inactive, on 05/13/2009, -0/+133I take it you didn't watch the video.
- themastersb, on 05/13/2009, -6/+135This video should be mandatory for the entire state of Texas to watch
- BuenoCabra, on 05/13/2009, -3/+124Why did the fish skeleton become a symbol for garbage? I can honestly say I've never seen one intact outside of cartoons.
- inactive, on 05/13/2009, -8/+127Sometimes if you're fat, people will reject everything you say, as they should.
- DiscoLando, on 05/13/2009, -11/+130Fantastic video. I'm a theist and I 100% approve of the message presented here.
- inactive, on 05/13/2009, -1/+111Irony.
- Tsumuji, on 05/13/2009, -13/+110I have a feeling this will be spun in favor of whoever thinks they're open-minded.
"Open-mindedness means agreeing with me." It makes me think of how Digg's system has (d)evolved from digging comments that are insightful to digging them only if they agree with your own opinion. - inactive, on 05/13/2009, -17/+106I think this ought to be taught in churches instead.
- themastersb, on 05/13/2009, -1/+87propose*
- wontstoptalking, on 05/13/2009, -54/+134I'm gonna get dugg down sooooo bad but...
I think idea of this video goes a bit the other way as well. I love science, and love everything about science, and science is awesome, and I plan on watching it improve or even aiding in its improval, if I'm lucky. I believe in evolution and the like, and I'm not religious at all.
There are two ways of putting it: religion (or spirituality) being closed minded and being open minded.
Closed minded: "There can be no dinosaurs! Evolution is ideas of Satin!" and the like.
Open minded: "there is really no proof FOR this, and there is the same amount of proof AGINST this, and believing in the possible but not proven, such as some kind of afterlife or something, is open minded. I am a man of science, and while there may be no reason to believe this or not, being open minded I do not immediately shut out the possibility that maybe there is something."
Sorry if that^ made no sense :(
One of my role models on this subject is Rainn Wilson (who plays Dwight Shrute on The Office) and his conflicts with spirituality, and his incredible site http://www.soulpancake.com/ ) - sjm20k, on 05/13/2009, -5/+80Consider the choir preached to.
- wontstoptalking, on 05/13/2009, -1/+67This ought to be taught everywhere.
- mrzisme, on 05/13/2009, -1/+61Dugg for eraserhead - But women dont live in radiators!
- PsychoBrat, on 05/13/2009, -0/+53You're both right.
- ravage386, on 05/13/2009, -4/+56BALLS OF THEORY!
- Paulish, on 05/13/2009, -0/+52I Dugg you up because I agree.
- inactive, on 05/13/2009, -0/+51He doesn't have an accent!
- Duggan360, on 05/13/2009, -3/+54I'm an atheist, And I approve of this message.
We should get apartment together and have wacky adventures, Would make a great show - 13373h4X0r, on 05/13/2009, -2/+52I got the impression that maybe the guy who made that video had one too many encounters with people evangelizing and proselytizing! LOL! Epic rant! (I mean that in a non-pejorative way!)
- wontstoptalking, on 05/13/2009, -12/+60Closed minded.
- liarandathief, on 05/13/2009, -0/+45How would that work exactly?
- Aquinas315, on 05/13/2009, -4/+46Yes that would be considered open-mindedness, but it is an irrational open-mindedness. Normally, when someone wants to claim the existence X, they need to provide evidence of X. If I told you that there was once a species of dinosaur-sized frogs on the Earth, you would request that I provide evidence, most likely through the fossil record, as to the existence of these creatures as a way of rationally accepting my claim. However, to just say that there exists an afterlife without any supporting evidence because there is no evidence against such a thing is a logical fallacy. When one wants to make a claim to the existence of something or a transpiration of events, one must provide evidence.
- Renian, on 05/13/2009, -7/+43Yes, evolution is the idea of a terrible, terrible fabric; an intricate weave of fallacy and pre-shrunk intellectualism.
- iamacyborg, on 05/13/2009, -1/+36I am experimenting by imagining that Danish girl from college reading the DirecTV remote operation manual. Oh god, I have to masturbate.
- ryanhayn, on 05/13/2009, -2/+36@psolms: woosh.
- theshizzler, on 05/13/2009, -0/+33That's what she said.
- iamacyborg, on 05/13/2009, -0/+31I feel so validated.
- platipuz, on 05/13/2009, -1/+32People need to watch this before interacting with other human beings in any way after the age of 15.
- liarandathief, on 05/13/2009, -1/+31"Toleration is not the opposite of intoleration, but is the counterfeit of it. Both are despotisms. The one assumes to itself the right of withholding liberty of conscience, and the other of granting it." -Thomas Paine
- mercurio, on 05/13/2009, -2/+31Dear Bill O'Reilly,
Please watch this in its entirety.
Thanks,
Rational People of the World. - inactive, on 05/13/2009, -0/+29Kinda true, sadly.
- nmoulana, on 05/13/2009, -13/+39Yup that's very true and applies to a lot of people, but just a mention of god around these parts... well you know.
- basickly, on 05/13/2009, -0/+26It's sad that this video would actually apply to a large number of adults.
It seems more like it should be aimed and children that haven't learned to think correctly yet. - snapcase, on 05/13/2009, -0/+26Pretty sure Looney Tunes wasn't trying to make a jab at Christianity when it had the cats carrying around some fish bones.
- Prodigal19, on 05/13/2009, -0/+26This guy has many other videos as well which are great.

- MalarkeyPN, on 05/13/2009, -0/+24Yeah I wish there were more open minded people in the world, people like me, and the people who agree with me.
- Renian, on 05/13/2009, -2/+25/s is shorthand for /sarcasm.
The joke is that he misspelled Satan as satin. And now it's not funny, because I had to explain it. :/ -
