Another Stonehenge Discovered Under Lake Michigan?

io9.com — A group of researchers using sonar to find shipwrecks on the bottom of Lake Michigan have found something far older than crashed cargo ships. They believe they've found a 10-thousand-year-old stone structure like Stonehenge.

    I've swam in it once many years ago. And once, in an unrelated story, I saw Conan O'Brien and Mr. T kayaking down the Chicago River when I was walking between classes downtown. I'm surprised that they didn't get something worse then e coli. The Chicago River is far dirtier then Lake Michigan.

Just like he wrote, we found that infernal altar at the bottom of the lake. But it wasn't deserted, oh the merciless horrors we saw from the portholes of our divingbell. Vile things cavorted on the lakebed, stirring up black mud with their revelry and worship at that altar of elder gods.

    Who knows what horrors they pray for? Not much time left now, Jonah is burning the notes. Soon when all evidence is destroyed I'll give myself final peace. Just one more drink to forget...
