1) Getting paid to do [thing].
2) Not getting paid because you are not doing [thing].
3) She might take off her top. - IllBeBack, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6I'll get around to reading this later... Or not.
- parax, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I barely think this needs to be dugg, every article on that site has been some of the best web development advice ever written. Zeldman is undoubtedly one of the great minds on the internet. I've been reading ALA since late 1999, I don't even develop web pages anymore but I still read it because it's always interesting and thought provoking stuff.
- bouche, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2where in there does it tell you how to explain to people that you need to be left alone for a decent amount of time to be creative, productive and successful? open office space sucks for that, and being at home is hard because it's very hard to be alone for a good period of time. let's see some advice on that.
- openthink, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1 a lot of really good, very "executable" advice...
- bbloye, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1There are plenty of 'How to be creative' and 'How to find motivation' guides, but these are often very abstract and unspecific and require completely changing your attitude or methodology, and as such are hard to implement. This article, however, gives you small tips and things that you can actually do, that will hopefully work their way in to your creative practices.
- AndrewKoenen, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0I decided once and for all that I was going to make it or die.
- MadGouki, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0Refer to George Carlin on self help.
- 10thDimension, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0Is this the Self Help or Science section? I think I took a wrong turn ...
- Sil369, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1Practical tips imo, but this kinda runs counter to the competitive deadline driven market. The trickey part is developing this creative mentality and using it in the real world - that is, compressing it to someone else's calendar (company project deadline, etc). I wish the article went a bit into that. This was an interesting read, none-the-less.
- Piedramente, on 10/10/2007, -4/+0This is ***** advice....
