libtiff Vulnerability gives hope for a new GTA-less PSP Exploit!
qj.net — Following up on a libtiff exploit found by NOPx86, Skylark, psp250 and Fanjita have confirmed that this new exploit will work on 2.0 and 2.01 PSP's, opening the door for running PSP homebrew on 2.01+ PSP's without using the Grand Theft Auto UMD. They are also hopeful that this exploit will work on higher firmwares, possibly even 2.80

- waytoorandomx, on 10/12/2007, -17/+0How come it was on front page of that site before your own? Talk about an attitude. Get over it, this digg is dead (so is the other digg). No one cares about the PSP on Digg anyways. Plus you should be banned, all the stories you digg are your own sites.
- bbatsell, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11There is absolutely nothing wrong with submitting your own content to digg; if the content isn't good, then it won't be dugg, and it will die a fast and painless death. If the content is good, then it doesn't matter who submits it, the democratic system that is digg will promote it.
The reason you see many people complain about submissions that lead to personal websites is that the submission criticized don't provide any sort of content other than a summary and a link to another website; the proper action is to link to the original website providing the actual content first, bypassing your own personal site/blog.
I do find it somewhat humorous that someone with numerous negative diggs is saying that another user should be banned based entirely on a misconception. - lacronicus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2there is a valid reason that it linked to a personal website. correct me if im wrong, but digg has banned news stories from qj.net so a personal site is necessary. besides, its not that big a deal anyway. In any case im glad because ill downgrade and use devhook. w00t for hackers!!

Do you bitch for the fun of it? If you don't like a Digg don't "Digg it".
- kickinass, on 10/12/2007, -11/+6QJ.net only cares about money and getting hits on their site. Site owners add their own ***** to digg, how lame. Dont support these money hungry assholes.
- websyndicate, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7well qj does run a good site. Lots of hosting. Ive been a member for about a year and never paid a dollar
- TeamOverload, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6I posted this like 4 days ago when it was first discovvered, but, oh well at least it is getting attention now. QJ is a great site, so stop talking crap.
- AshTR, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3QJ is a great news site. Especially PSPUpdates. So stop spouting those lies.
- musters, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Looking forward to this. Kids updated PSP to 2.71 to play a friends game... I really want my homebrew back.
- ImTheDarkcyde, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3i updated back when i got sick of SNES running at 13fps, but i hear they got it up nowadays, makes me want that modchip
- potat4o, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1This is great for 2.71 users!!!
(like me) - AshTR, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I can personally say that it crashes my PSP and I have a 2.80 so we'll see homebrew on all firmwares which would be awesome!
- bigteebo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This will be an endless waltz. Skilled hw hackers get homebrew to work on firmware X, Sony will release a firmware X+1 where homebrew won't work.
- bergur1, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1this is really cool. I myself visit PSPu BUT my main site for PSP related stuff is PSPcrazy.com.
I also have a 1.5 and have since I got it last year. My brother and my GF are the unlucky ones and they dont want to take the GTA risk.
Yes I dont like QJ but PSP updates has alot of updates with some really good stuff once in awhile. - TeamOverload, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Obviously you are wrong, since it allowed the story
