- inactive, on 07/09/2008, -11/+328I don't know. I kinda liked the old intro and outro better. It was random. You didn't know what you were going to hear.
- Zyphron, on 07/09/2008, -12/+320Is that going to be the opening song every time? I will miss the different music before every video if they go with a standard intro.
- t2t2, on 07/09/2008, -7/+235Stay after the credits (but before ads), there's an extra silent-video.
- inactive, on 07/09/2008, -9/+231"Whine because I don't want to rip off copyrighted music anymore"
- BKred, on 07/09/2008, -4/+179Every week I look forward to Wednesday for the new Zero Punctuation and every Wednesday I forget all about it until it shows up on Digg.
Thank you, Digg. - BKred, on 07/09/2008, -6/+119Or you could just be patient for the 3 or 4 minutes and let the people whose job it is to bring you that 2 hours of mindless passive entertainment get their credit. Think of those extra scenes as rewards for being nice enough to subconsciously ingrain the 2nd assistant boom mike operator's name into your brain.
- inactive, on 07/09/2008, -5/+100I dugg this because I like yahtzee's reviews. They're at least somewhat intelligent unlike the motivational posters that make it to the front page.
- glasnostic, on 07/09/2008, -1/+90they won't. i think his bosses decided that he couldn't use just any song unless he paid royalties.. its one thing to use copyrighted material as fare use parody, its quite another thing to use it as intro music.
*****.. ever wonder why you never hear anybody sing "happy birthday" on TV? its because that song is copyrighted.
so.... say goodbye to clever use of "not at all random" songs that allude to key elements to the games or his review, and say hello to crappy powerchord genero-rock. - Misinformant, on 07/09/2008, -32/+119Bring back the old intro.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. - JudgeMonkey, on 07/09/2008, -1/+85Yeah, the reviews are still awesome of course, but the little snippets were definitely a part of it's charm that will be missed.
- tyywebb, on 07/09/2008, -18/+81***** intro sucks!
- cheez124, on 07/09/2008, -1/+64if he's going to get sued its broke.
- JohnDavis730, on 07/09/2008, -0/+57he says at the end that the reason he isnt putting random music in anymore is because he doesnt want to rip off copyrighted music. i'd rather him not put the music up then get sued and him have to end his reviews.
- directrix13, on 07/09/2008, -4/+60I believe Fair Use allows using like 30 seconds of a song.
- IAmSam14, on 07/09/2008, -1/+56It's 30 seconds or 10%, which ever is shorter.
- dhVyse, on 07/09/2008, -21/+75Not digging the into music.
- RoroCo, on 07/09/2008, -18/+69{Side rant} I hate scenes after the credits... Ever since Ferris Beullers Day Off I have this nagging feeling that I have to sit through piles of meaningless names scrolling on a scene while normal people make their way home just so I don't miss the only portion of a movie people talk about the next day. Do I really have to know that Bob Grabbith is the Key Grip on the Iron Man movie to find out that there are hints to a joint superhero movie at the end?
- FLarsen, on 07/09/2008, -3/+49He's not doing it live anymore. :(
- Alegoo92, on 07/09/2008, -2/+46They might still have random music. I hope they do.
- thetenthlisten, on 07/09/2008, -1/+42I prefer the term "nuked the fridge".
- AzureRise, on 07/09/2008, -2/+42They attacked Yahtzee? They've gone too far! To arms, boys. We're going hunting!
- Flea08, on 07/09/2008, -11/+50Copyright infringement laws FTL :(
- saxreturns, on 07/09/2008, -3/+42Franchisicide, not -seaside. That'd be something else altogether...
- runner108, on 07/09/2008, -6/+45Having never seen one of these before I thought it was funny.. but then reading the comments it seems the intro music is the most important part.
- protogenxl, on 07/09/2008, -9/+47I prefer the topical songs to this new music.
- inactive, on 07/09/2008, -10/+45"..or should I say the ONLY 3 Indiana Jones movies, and if anyone tries to correct me you are wrong and should be punched"
We got a free Crystal Skulls movie review out of him. That movie did suck. 5 words for ya:
Refrigerator
Tarzan
Niagara
Ants
Greys - StuartGibson, on 06/14/2009, -0/+34Sorry, Tana Dubbe was Key Grip on the Iron Man movie.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0239202/ - badnewsblair, on 07/09/2008, -2/+36Looks like he got into a little trouble with the RIAA?
- randomdave, on 07/09/2008, -8/+41Aww man, where is the music that goes with the review?
Like The Rolling stones-sympathy for the devil for Devil May Cry 4 Or The Beatles - Hello Goodbye for halo 3 - FriedTurkey, on 07/09/2008, -1/+32If you played the Lego games you would know that it is a parody of the dialogless parody movie cutscenes in the games. I think the first Star Wars game about the prequels had the funniest cutscenes because it was almost making fun of the movies and they made more sense than the real movies.
- Mewchu11, on 07/09/2008, -3/+34***** the RIAA
- dhVyse, on 07/09/2008, -8/+38George "Franchiseaside" Lucas. Niiice.
- trusttimothy, on 07/09/2008, -3/+32Yeah, this is the exact moment he jumped the shark

ok:
[/sarcasm] - saxreturns, on 07/09/2008, -1/+29I can't decide whether you're genuinely trying to be funny or you're just a troll... you're no good at either. I hope you have a day job to stick to.
- asleepy0, on 07/09/2008, -0/+28He mentions in the credits he doesn't want to use real songs because if he gets popular enough some stupid artist will sue.
- P373Y, on 07/09/2008, -0/+27is fair use international?
- Alegoo92, on 07/09/2008, -0/+24No headphone jack?
- ktfcaptain, on 07/09/2008, -2/+25Can't you play any song for under a certain amount of time without having to pay??
- Unknown038, on 07/09/2008, -0/+21***** the new intro and ***** the riaa (even though they have nothing to do with yahtzee in australia).
im going to miss the music segments, and *****, ever hear of fair use? - SkippyDoorknob, on 07/09/2008, -3/+24If I pay a small fortune to see a movie, I'm going to stay and watch every last second. Besides it's better than getting caught in the mob of people trying to all leave at the same time.
- thehoodie, on 07/09/2008, -2/+22Damnit.
I just lost. - tcpip4lyfe, on 07/09/2008, -1/+21No headphones.
- MuffinPatrol, on 07/09/2008, -1/+20You forgot prairie dogs.
- saxreturns, on 07/09/2008, -2/+21Your argument against it is so compelling that I'm sure you'll sway many an opinion. Even more so with the all-caps visual assault.
- graeh, on 07/09/2008, -0/+18APRA are the governing body here.
He's in Australia.
But is the parent company in Australia?
In these days of jetsetting super reviewers - it's hard to know which copyright governing body in which country you need to exclaim "***** THE " at. - shortyjacobs, on 07/09/2008, -1/+19Sweet jesus.....leave the house sometime.
- Rolamoto, on 07/09/2008, -0/+18It's a British accent, jackass
- TheDiceMan, on 07/09/2008, -1/+19The new intro and outro sucks donkey balls - half the charm was the carefully chosen music - now it's some generic shiote >-
- chris8535, on 07/09/2008, -0/+18This is actually a very important point, it shows how even the single most popular site on Digg doesn't drive regular readers to the site. I thought I was the only one, who never returned to sites I was linked to from Digg, but I think most users don't. Digg has actually a menace to most content sites. It drives massive loads of single use (and completely unmonitizable) readers to a site who never ever return, but it sits back and milks everyones headlines for ad revenues for itself.
I'm not saying Digg should disappear, its simply that they are pointing out that the real content is headlines, which Digg hordes all to themselves without actually contributing anything to anyone. - FriedTurkey, on 07/09/2008, -0/+17I wonder if somebody in legal told him to stop using copyrighted music?
