But earlier today I wanted to play and my account went corrupt for no reason whatsoever and so I tried recovering it. Lucky me, account recovery is still screwed up :(

Go outside and do something - bills534, on 01/08/2008, -0/+6Forza 2 post your track time to XBL after every race before it saves your game. Usually this happens quickly but recently it has taken 1-3 minutes to accomplish.

- dunezone, on 01/08/2008, -1/+7Yeah, but the XBL problems started occurring after the last major update to the system. In addition to that, for example in guitar hero it updates your score on the leader boards which involves XBL.

- Twizlex, on 01/08/2008, -1/+6The same could be said for any game saves or the crap people go on 40-man raids for in MMORPGs. When it boils down to it, it's all digital nothingness, but it still represents actual time and effort that you don't want wasted because of some screw-up that is out of your hands. If you really feel it doesn't matter, than you should never play any videogame that can't be beaten in 15 minutes.

Oh and for those that say that we have no life. You couldn't be more wrong. I know plenty of people(like me) that are hardcore gamers with gamerscores of 10,000 and up that are great athletes, great students, devoted to numerous other pursuits and that can easily get a girlfriend. Just because you spend a lot of time gaming doesn't mean you can't have a life.

- staticneuron, on 01/08/2008, -2/+6All I know is that I have both an I never really cared that much about achievments until Uncharted for the PS3. Unlocking achievments in that game net you costumes, color changes, the ability to invert the world, weapons and so forth. The other games that had something similar but not as interesting were heavenly sword and ratchet. By far out of all the games that I have playe with achievments uncharte just made the most sense.
