- rkalla, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I saw that comment as well, but assuming Dell isn't eating $50/XBox out of the kindness of their own heart I wonder if this is just a strategic play so Sony feels comforatable with a higher price point and then come Christmas shopping season *bam* Microsoft "decides" at the last minute to issue a $50 price drop. That would leave Sony with their pants down sitting at almost double the price point of the XBox 360 for their top unit.
Unless of course Sony has the exact same thing planned and comes in at $450 at the last minute after all in order to get sales to ramp up quickly since they are starting a year behind Microsoft with their next-gen console.
