- wild, on 10/12/2007, -3/+15it would be cooler if the ground were taped out in a grid.
- augustj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3FlindianaJones is it not possible to make gridfication based on the tracking.
This is because the height of the persons determinate the size of the grid.
I still do not understand how it has become a gameplay trailer :) - augustj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3everything will be explained on www.bombermanevolved.com
- carnage, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2setup chairs/tables for the unbreakable blocks, makes changing maps harder, but leeter too
- augustj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2hey guys the original video is at: http://youtube.com/watch?v=49rDCWO-ui8
this is a 3rd semester project, where we just got 13 a the exam (danish, the best grade you can get)
please refer to this video because it's the original. - Cyber_Akuma, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"it would be great the creators of bomberman did something besides the top down game play, bomberman 64 was freaking awesome."
There are.
While I don't keep track of the games, I know there was at least one more advneture game for the N64 and one for the GC, theres probably more for the GC and DS. - DiggityDugged, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I like how everyone gets gathered around the door to watch
- nahoda, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Separate rooms so you couldn't see each other would make it much cooler
- Hassassin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1They do exist, you just need to leave your mom's basement once in awhile.
- FlindianaJones, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1OH YEAH!
This is too cool. Would definitely pay to play this or other games controlled like it. I agree though that the floor needs gridification... - MusicalGenius, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Not a bad beginning but blinding people padding or not wouldn't work. The balance issue would never resolve and turn too many off too fast. You want addicting games. If only Holographic Tech was farther... But honestly I think the Wii will suit Bomberman well. 2D fits the game style very well.
- OrStateDigg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Waaay cool.
- MusicalGenius, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What am I the only real Bomberman fan here? Yes there is actually more than one on GC alone. I own Bomberman Generation and Jetters. Putting this aside. They also are making one for the wii. Bomberman is a great time and has a lot of potential. This is one INTERESTING (Not the very best) idea I've seen. This has a lot of potential but prob. won't go anywhere. There was more than one for the 64 as well. Bomberman was horrible on the 64 they ruined the multi-player. Though Generation actually has a decent single player. It's slow at first but when you get into it it's pretty cool. Wait for the Wii Bomberman and just see the game and it's beauty come to life.
If you want a good time get the old simple Bomberman for the SNES it's small, simple, and great for getting good at the game. Then try Generation a little slower but more weapons etc... You have to select some from the menu by themselves but it is very worth it. - Stevethegreat, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Oh come on this is augmented reality not virtual reality, it is as VR as Wii (it isn't), VR implies full immersion of all your sensors (it is at least a decade away). Great stuff nevertheless
- DiggityDugged, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1This is cool and all, but I think the Virtual Reality college project I just posted on the site is even cooler - we're using Unreal Tournament to make a Virtual Reality game for medical patients with motion imbalance problems. The full details and pictures are all here:

- Proven, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Also, you can get the original Bomberman '93 off the Wii console for just $8, and you'll find that most of the features you see today are intact (and there's support for 5 players).
- Nateon, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1That is pretty damn awesome. Damn good thing that the bomberman characters aren't large giant evil robots on steroids.
- darkever, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Not that impressive. There has been a lot more creative and complicated vision systems than this one. Honestly, this is nothing exciting.
- AntBing, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0If you're into this sort of thing you should take a trip to Downtown Disney in Orlando, FL. It's called DisneyQuest
http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/entertainment/entertainmentDetail?id=DisneyQuestIndoorInteractiveThemeParkEntertainmentPage - fixedcoma, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I like it, but yeah would be3 better to do in seperate rooms. I wonder how often they collide with one another!?!
- kcpwnsgman, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2it would be great the creators of bomberman did something besides the top down game play, bomberman 64 was freaking awesome.
- fun4stuff, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0what they need to do is set up 1 room for each player. Equip each player with helmet that attaches screen that goes around face to give the impression that you are really in the game (first-person view). Make the actual room about 5 feet longer and 5 feet wider than the virtual room, put up padding on walls/floor, and have a warning system or someone watching to make sure you don't run into the walls.
- farplaner, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0This is definitely something I would pay to play in an arcade... if arcades still existed
- TehPostman, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0That would be awesome.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -7/+0This is totally lame. No digg.

What is Digg?
