Yes you are right YOUR story is a duplicate, go remove it now.
Check the submission time - Crumbeast, on 10/12/2007, -2/+24i'm sure there are thousands who agree with you that having more options to choose from is hurting the VC.
- Snowcone, on 10/12/2007, -3/+25@chapel
Take a number, the Wii-kly VC releases will spawn anywhere between 20 and 40 separate Digg submissions despite being told they are dupes. - zinnate, on 10/12/2007, -0/+22I'll be happy for forever once super metroid gets on that list.

- overneath42, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19The Internet is Serious Business!
- fluidfoundation, on 10/12/2007, -4/+21Time for some Castlevania Speed Runs!!!!!!!!!
Now, just give me mega man and FF2 for snes and I'm set.
I take that back ... I'd like ChronoTrigger!! - maximumsteve1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12@chapel
go cry about it emo kid. that's the way the world works :) - aggrazel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11And remember, if you get legend of the mystical ninja, you get the first level of gradius in an arcade somewheres.
- fugeelama, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11I can't complain; I've been waiting for Legend of the Mystical Ninja since I first heard about the VC. Now give me Secret of Mana and I'll be set!!!
- fluidfoundation, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10although... its is the "mr dream" version. funny how Soda Popinski was charged with vehicular manslaughter while drunk driving, but his ugly ass is still in the game. Oh, they hypocrisy!
- lebe0024, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10dugg.
- fluidfoundation, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10that little metroid getting pwnd.... makes you tear up a bit..
- gorkish, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Punch-Out! has been available on Wii Virtual Console for a few weeks. Naturally it now features "Mr. Dream" instead of Mike Tyson.
- EtherGnat, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10Imagine that--the most popular gaming system at the moment actually generates the highest number of stories in the gaming section. If you don't like it feel free to remove gaming from your topics.
- wiggles, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Consider yourself berated again for not realizing Punch-Out was already there.
- kamog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7LotMJ is a welcome addition to my collection and if anyone has never heard of/played it I strongly urge them to pick that baby up. One of the greatest adventure games to grace the SNES with an insane quirkiness that you'd have to be crazy not to appreciate. I have the fondest memories of that game along with Castlevania. I think this week was win with the releases on the VC.
Ever since Europe and Japan got Actraiser I've been praying to my false Gods every Sunday night that it gets released in the US. Oh well, maybe next week... - CaptMonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6It's called Military Madness. And yes, it's a good game, it's a lot like the Advance Wars series for Gameboy/DS.
- VeganG, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5So Castlevania's been released. Prepare for a whole new generation of controllers smashed in anger and frustration.
- mikeneilson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Can we all get in on the petition to get Contra next? I need my damn Spread Gun.
- doshindude, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Nintendo is developing 45 games for the Wii right now. so you have no right to complain. plus, have some patience. a rushed game is a crap game.
- Rabite, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I'm pretty sure its on the VC already.
- aplardi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4@ Toojdwin
Or not, and support the companies we love. - ddobson, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I owned a TG-16 back in the day and bought a lot of games for it -- some good, many not so good. The only "rebuys" I've made are Alien Crush and Military Madness for the Virtual Console, I was happy to prove I can learn from experience on Victory Run and Vigilante.
As it turns out, because I have a sizable retro collection already, most of the VC games I've bought have been for the little NEC/Hudson box that couldn't. What's been cool for me is that many of the Turbografx titles on the VC are NOT games I had bought before -- so I'm finally getting around to playing decent efforts like Bonk's Revenge and Super Star Soldier for a reasonable price. And I'm REALLY itching to pick up Battle Lode Runner soon, if only to show support for bringing PC Engine titles to the VC that were never released in the US.
Now bring on the Neo Geo! - ahatter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3snowcone i would not be telling anyone to get a life.. look how many comments you have on this post.
- TiMMY8765, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5TG has some good stuff. sure most of what they've released so far is crap, but bomberman is a great party game. Also, double dungeons is fun if you get a friend to come over and play. Theres some strategy game too but I havent bought it and I forget what it is called.
- mustbepatient, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Agreed on both LotMN and Actraiser. In fact, Actraiser is one of only a few games I've bothered to play through on an emulator. BTW I'm still pissed that they got rid of the city-building part for Actraiser 2 :(
- xBBx, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3The only reason why I jumped on chapel is because he started bitching first. He bitches at anyone and everyone, he just wants attention and it's sad really. So keep blowing your whistle chapel, because you are only making things worse for yourself buddy.
- crossmr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1super mario brothers 3?
Phantasy star iv?
COME ON. - chrisrowe, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2We gonna get this every week?
If you care just sign up for Wii newsletter or RSS - biggyfred, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is as good a place as any to ask, I suppose. My girlfriend has been berating me for a release date for Dr. Mario on the VC. Anyone know of a street date, or know of a site that predicts such things with reasonable accuracy?
Thanks in advance. - Baku, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sorry... for being in Europe.... I was gonna comment on the fact that I've had these available on my VC for a couple of weeks now (and final fight last week)....
You'd think the US would get the latest VC releases before Europe though.... weirdness.
Personally, I'm waiting for the SNES version of Mario Kart, and Goldeneye for the N64. :) - Snowcone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1They left that in the Contra release for XLA.
- fragile00, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Still waiting on Final Fight! Damn you europe!
- SkippyDoorknob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Not to mention the games that the third party developers are working on. Most of them were caught off guard with the success of the Wii and are scrambling to play catch-up.
- zetsurin, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Lame. And expensive.

waaah. its happened to everyone. - Snowcone, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1@ahatter
I fail to see the correlation. 6 short posts takes all of what? 5 minutes out of my day. - NoodleGuy, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1Contra is out on XBLA. Probably not coming to Wii.
- JorgeGonzalez, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1I clicked. =(
- Sp00nMan, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2I wish Nintendo would release some new games instead of these virtual consoles. I could care less about 8-bit graphic games on my Wii. I can play them on my pc for free, and even when I did it was exciting for about 5 mins.
- Toojdwin, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1@all
Just use emus for the PC! They're free, and every game in existence is supported. - Snowcone, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1@fluidfoundation
Get a life. I'm long passed the complaining stage. Any time big news hits this topic fills up with dupes out the ass. I've accepted it and just don't care anymore. I am merely pointing out the obvious that xBBx can jump all over chapel for pointing out a dupe when he's guilty of submitting a dupe as well. -
