Direct link - Tiak, on 11/19/2008, -2/+46Please tell me I'm not the only one who thought that the image in the article was supposed to be an embedded copy and tried to use it.
- SwordofKahless, on 11/19/2008, -1/+22I saw "Trek Fallout" and thought the article was about the outrage over the new Star Trek movie trailer.
- HookmasterCH47, on 11/19/2008, -0/+16Anyone check out this map and realized that they haven't done crap in the game?
- twitchr, on 11/19/2008, -0/+15god damn i love this game.
- douglasr007, on 11/19/2008, -1/+14Fallout 3 sucks.
Sucks because it's taking a huge chunk of my social life. My other friend thought he found every place in the game (according to found locations) and when I loaded my save and went to a building, his first response was, "Where's that area?" This game is crack, I tell you. - carf4ce, on 11/19/2008, -1/+12not gonna lie, i will pretty much digg anything related to fallout 3...
- DeathMarcher, on 11/19/2008, -0/+9What? No street view?
- doktorrocket, on 11/19/2008, -1/+9I found this one easier to use:

(courtesy of fhqwhgads in the arstechnica comments) - tawnos, on 11/18/2008, -4/+11Nice find. That will come in handy when I get lost.
- SineCurve, on 11/19/2008, -0/+6Nope, you're not. :)
- ichbinladen, on 11/19/2008, -0/+6I'm ashamed I had to use it to find Arlington cemetery in game. (I live 5 minutes away from it IRL- oops)
- megamod, on 11/19/2008, -1/+6when? I got out of the vault and was lost!
- dha07030, on 11/19/2008, -2/+7Washington Square Park
Just don't except good deals. Maybe you can increase your Barter skills. - Cglass, on 11/19/2008, -0/+5And then got furious at the lame site that would put a screenshot of it instead of actually embedding it!!! >:O RAWR
- petebot, on 11/19/2008, -0/+5This game is so dense, this might just come in handy...but I won’t use it until I’m done exploring on my own. That’s half the fun!
- noseeme, on 11/19/2008, -0/+4Ohhhhhh, is that what maps are for? Thanks for the clarification.
- 350Zed, on 11/19/2008, -0/+3I don't see how getting lost could be a concern...
Why not just pick a quest and follow the little arrow on your compass?
Why would anyone just wander around aimlessly questlessly? (Yes, I made that word up.) - WhiteHamster, on 11/19/2008, -0/+3I thought Chrome was broken ...
- nickrct, on 11/19/2008, -0/+3Defintely could have used this a week ago
- bluemedle, on 11/19/2008, -0/+3Sorry, last one didn't upload to full size try these links

http://i402.photobucket.com/albums/pp106/bluemedle ... - darienphoenix, on 11/19/2008, -0/+3Pity the main quest has more plot holes than a Uwe Boll movie, and an ending of similar quality.
I loved the rest of the game, but it honestly felt like they got together with a month to go before release, and realised they needed a main plot somewhere. - Lunarbunny, on 11/19/2008, -1/+4I've seen this sort of stuff done with Oblivion as well:
http://www.uesp.net/maps/obmap/obmap.shtml - inactive, on 11/19/2008, -0/+3There's points of interest and such near my apartment *and* my work. Cool! I can't wait to play this!
- graahBrains, on 11/19/2008, -1/+3you can get more ammo for the alien blaster in the armory at the outcast base. silly map.
- centran, on 11/19/2008, -1/+3because one of the "tricks" for maximum skill points is to set you Intelligence to 9 and then immediately head to Rivet city to bump it to 10 with the bobblehead. However, for first timers I recommend not talking to anyone in Rivet city as you could ruin/bypass several of the main quests.
Also, another good idea is too just go around and collect bobbleheads. This helps in two ways. First, it is obviously increases your stats. Second, you will "discover" many locations on your map. This way you will have places to fast travel too when you continue on with quests. It makes traveling a lot less of a hassle. - Jaliyl, on 11/19/2008, -0/+2This one is much better, I've been using it for about a week now.
- DCGUY12, on 11/19/2008, -0/+2That's ok, I do too and who knew that you had to go through the flooded metro to get to it.
- Notasheeple, on 11/19/2008, -0/+2I was just going to say......."holy piss, I still have a lot of places to go"
- themastersb, on 11/19/2008, -0/+2Is getting lost inside the Vault worse?
- darienphoenix, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1Ars is never blog spam.
Never ever. - bluemedle, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1Many places are not part of the main quests and must be discovered on your own.
- inactive, on 11/19/2008, -4/+5someone make this for drugs in the nyc area, i promise to contribute a few locations.
please! - doktorrocket, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1Remember, Not all who wander are lost.....er....questless.
- twitchr, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1I haven't played through the main story in it's entirety yet. Just the same as it was with Oblivion, i enjoy just going my own way and encountering quests as they come. But, i think you're right. Bethesda (sp?) does seem to put so much into the sheer size and scope of their games, and the story line almost seems like an afterthought.
- bitweever, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1Does anyone know how to use Google Maps with your own map like this? I've looked through toolkits and API's trying to figure it out, but haven't been able to yet.
- zephyr42, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1***** blog spam... even if it is ARS
- cdadabo, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1Again, you're not. :P
- an0nym0us, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1I guess the EMP from the blast took all the cams out.
- 350Zed, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1Collecting bobbleheads in-game is as dull and pointless as collecting bobbleheads in real life must be.
- 350Zed, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1To what end?
- toonworld, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1you eventually have access to a perk that reveals all the locations on your map, but it doesn't reveal all of them though.
- thebarkingdog, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1My favorite Fallout 3 map:
http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images// ...
60+ hours and two playthroughs. I gotta do it one more time to get the last three Xbox karma achievements (Neutral, Good, Neutral, in that order, which is going to be interesting), plus the speech and hacking ones. - OzzieAlThor, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1Lawl. Silly Digger, honesty gets you buried here.
- Juice7, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1Why even pretend like you're trying to contribute to the discussion, when you can just type "First!!1!"
- CrushThemTorg, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1As someone who just got back into Oblivion (what the hell's wrong with me?), I thank you.
- blightmouth, on 01/04/2009, -0/+0haha. maybe not furious. but close!
- whahaa, on 11/19/2008, -1/+1i like the trailer.
