Love it or hate it, doesn't matter. Women are gaming more and more all the time. We don't ALL "suck," we're not all "n00bs," and not many of us are "hoes" either. Hmm, kind of the same things could be said of you boys. I've played against some guys that couldn't tell their ass from a hole in the ground, some that were just male hoes looking to "hook up" on line via a game, and some....that were genuinely EXCELLENT at gaming.
I've been gaming since before a LOT of you were even BORN, and I'm female. Incidentally, Tia Carrere IS a porn star and an AVID gamer. She absolutely is killer at Unreal Tournament (pun intended), and I'd like to see some of you machismo-spewing boys take her on in THAT game. Now THAT would be hilarious to watch.
The way some of you go on like haters makes me question your sexuality. You know, SOME men (not boys), actually enjoy gaming with women.

Quite frankly any girls with lots of makeup, short skirts, excessive cleevage tops and fancy shoes gets one look up and down and thrown into the "one of them" category in my head. I noticed quite a few comments that people claimed guys were being racist or sexist, but I myself feel the same way. I'm in the same age range as the girls in this article and I play many of the same games, but I wouldn't whore myself in fishnets, panties, and my cartridges. Instead, I'll go to LAN parties in my oversized pants, tank tops or t-shirts, and Vans sneakers and game for long hours with the guys. That's what gamers do. They don't spend hours on their hair and makeup to sit their ass in front of their computer for eight hours a day. Hell, I'll roll out of bed in my clothes from the day before and flip on the PS2.

As far as those girls/women on the site in question being "real gamers," I have to agree to some degree. I spend at LEAST 40 hours gaming a week. For me, it's like a second job, albeit a hell of a lot more fun than the one from which my paychecks originate! If I was only playing 15 hours a week, like some of these girls, I'd go into withdrawal, develop one nasty attitude, and probably start chain smoking to relieve stress. My family appreciates the fact that I'm a gamer, it keeps me from killing them all and curbs the need for prescription meds. (Only sort of kidding there.)
Of course....dishes and laundry occasionally suffer, but that's how teenagers earn their allowance so THEY can buy games. :D
And another thing, some of us DO dress the way these girls are dressed, but certainly NOT for a six hour killing spree in CS Source, an 8 hour instance run of the Tempest Keep instances, or world PvP head bashing. Those sorts of clothing, or lack thereof, don't get whipped out until after a nice hot shower before bed. I'm not going to sit in the living room dressed that way....LOL! The clothing part (heh) of this article, I surmise, was added simply for the male reader (or NON-reader, whichever the case may be).

There are girls who are n00bs. There are girls who suck at gaming.
But the exact same thing could be said about guys.
I may not look as "hot" (or slutty!) as these girls... I may not wear fishnets (cuz really... yuck) but I am cute, I am a gamer, and I'll kick anyones ass.
