- marshall007, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5wow, i was just excited to get Age of Empires working on my Pocket PC...
now i can play it with a keyboard and mouse. this is actually pretty sweet.
also, @ edeliz
looks like ur pretty good at that game, cause ur getting dugg down. - jgclark123, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Get a set of rechargeable NiMH batteries. $20 for two "battery packs" that you can use in other products (wireless mouse, keyboard, etc.). If anything, I find the use of AA batteries less-restricting. Also, I don't think a Lithium-ion would provide much more battery life. Look at the PSP.
/proud GP2X owner - deepmenace, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3defn getting one of these.
this + 4 usb joypads = a proper good night in with a few mates.
turtles, street fighter 2, bomberman, track and field....the list is endless - Godmil, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3If you have 2 batteries in the machine and two in the charger, then you can just swap them about without having to be plugged into the wall whenever the batteries go. I find that a lot more practical than my DS. Also Lithium AA's will be coming out soon :)
- Godmil, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2oh I forgot about bomberman, this will be fantastic to take round to friends houses and plug in to their tv's at parties.
- Cervante1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0im buying it, and people with psp's, dont compare GP2X is a whole different ball field.
- rhuddle2000, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I want it for connecting a portable hard drive with tons of xvid movies.
- nopasaran, on 10/12/2007, -9/+6it's going to be awesome. I thought about building my own b.o.b. but it just wouldn't so sleek ^^
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1The only thing stopping me from buying one of these is its use of AA batteries. If they released a version that used a lithium battery pack, I imagine it'd last a big longer and it'd be heaps easier to recharge.
- DontEatTheFish, on 10/12/2007, -8/+4hmm well i have owned a gp2x for almost a year now, and well it is more of a gimmick, the emulators a very buggy, batterylife isn't the greatest, but with this cradle it makes it a little bit better, i might have to pull it out again and buy that...
- cycledance, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0dedicated devices ppl. portable machines want to be portable. (it doesnt have to be outside. you can play it in the bed at home too.) this thing is trying to bring the big screen and the ability to use controllers to a portable which kills its purpose. play on a homeconsole instead. this is why nintendo will stay in the lead...they know what makes sense. (imo. lol!)
- TheTjalian, on 10/12/2007, -9/+4If this is the future of Handheld Innovation, then I think I'll bow out of the handheld scene. This is even worse then the "innovation" of the PSP.
How the hell does turning some homebrew handheld into a 4" screen and a USB hub innovation of handheld products? What a pointless gimmick. Buried for suckage. - pwris16, on 10/12/2007, -10/+4I may well get one If I get the money for it :P
- davidrools, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1agreed. i think the Nintendo DS with the built in touchscreen and second screen is way more innovative than this.
- Tripmonkeyuk, on 10/12/2007, -12/+5I really can't wait to get one of these :D
- edeliz, on 10/12/2007, -19/+1Well you have too...
Get ready everyone...
It's the Digg Down game!!!
