- sockpuppets, on 11/11/2007, -0/+79I wish I had a real life gnome launcher.
- goldfenix, on 11/12/2007, -3/+82I'd like to share one of my recent favorites. Just FYI, this is not a Garry's Mod shot, it's just a random happening in-game.

- Shootfast, on 11/11/2007, -0/+59Yup, Team Fortress 2 looks just like that in game. And the animations are very "Pixar"ish
- str3ama, on 11/13/2007, -2/+56is that really in-game? I haven't been able to play the latest set of games from Valve on account of my crappy video card (radeon 7200) ..it looks like a Pixar movie...
- edilclyde, on 11/11/2007, -0/+44no, its an effect in Gmod...
- monkeestylee, on 11/14/2007, -0/+44take that travelocity!
- f4nt0m4s, on 11/14/2007, -1/+33hahaha, dugg for this one: http://i19.tinypic.com/6odirea.jpg
the sentry is truly the scout's nemesis - evensong, on 11/11/2007, -1/+25Yeah, these are real. Amazing.
Garry's mod lets you stage pretty much anything. Being that TF2 chars are so detailed, this is a perfect combination. - betterth, on 11/12/2007, -0/+24Orange Box is not just win, but five times the win in one box. I don't understand how a company can create so much win :(
- inactive, on 11/11/2007, -0/+20TF2 went in the right direction. As graphics become more detailed, more game designers should follow TF2's lead and focus on creating an art style rather than just mimicing reality, or we're gonna hit the Uncanny Valley real soon.
- ernasty10050, on 11/12/2007, -1/+17Oh god that is awesome thank you
- UtopiaInTheSky, on 11/11/2007, -4/+19Team Fortress 2 has depth of field?
- Archaic1, on 11/11/2007, -0/+14Scroll all the way down, there's more at the bottom, and some of page 2 and 3 as well.
- legendxx, on 11/11/2007, -2/+15they're pics...
- ubergeek09, on 11/11/2007, -1/+14Awesome, I need to get the Orange Box now.. I can't believe I have survived without for this long haha.
- bonk2k, on 11/12/2007, -0/+11Not many people know this but Orange Box consists of only one line of code:
Win - chaos7, on 11/11/2007, -1/+12TF2 is great
- inactive, on 11/11/2007, -0/+11Or a medic.
- wondertwins, on 11/12/2007, -2/+12orange box can beat halo any day
- cl2yp71c, on 11/11/2007, -1/+10Oh man....that made my night..
Now to get back to TF2! - wbbb617, on 11/11/2007, -1/+9yeah for me it goes from 2am to 6am, and im like *****, i gotta get up
- dafragsta, on 11/11/2007, -3/+11Yep. I keep saying it and saying it. This is the point where we enter the world of Toy Story quality games and the uncanny valley when it comes to games emulating the look and feel of "real life." There will be unforeseen side effects for playing the NEXT next-gen consoles. (Until the Wii gets up to speed, there is a qualifying adjective dammit.) As it stands, I've noticed after playing Skate or Dirt for a while, going outside catches you off guard a bit, what with the level of graphics, motion blur, DOF, and the way HDR mimics your own eyes adjusting to the light. I've subconsciously had these flashes where I am aware of the "close enough" way brain is starting to blend the line between parsing scenery while playing a game, and actually observing real life.
- MisterNetHead, on 11/12/2007, -0/+7Perfect example of why this game is so much damn fun.
- therightclique, on 11/10/2007, -1/+7that was the lie, *****.
- Vapor17, on 11/10/2007, -0/+6its actually surprising how effective the melee weapons are, it seems a little counterintuitive to use them, but they do a lot of damage at close range and every character has one
- dafragsta, on 11/11/2007, -0/+6I definitely think there's room for both trains of thought, but yeah, TF2 is the rarity in the world of next gen games.
- dako, on 11/11/2007, -1/+6"This guy is totally not a spy" =P
http://www.threepanelsoul.com/view.php?date=2007-1 ... - wondertwins, on 11/11/2007, -0/+4GOTCHA BITCH!
- wondertwins, on 11/11/2007, -0/+4if u read the steam update news, i heard that a garry's mod of the orange box is coming out soon. btw, i love the pic with the scout and the group of sentries
- Danihana, on 11/11/2007, -0/+4Nah, dude, she's in the cake.
- wbbb617, on 11/11/2007, -0/+3Please make more!!!
- aazn, on 11/11/2007, -0/+3Ratchet & Clank ftw
- screwzluse, on 11/10/2007, -0/+3Why have classes with different attributes if a sniper can just rape face up close? Would you prefer everyone to be exactly the same?
- Dokument, on 11/11/2007, -1/+4or a mrs heavy
- ernasty10050, on 11/10/2007, -1/+3Field of View is how far of an angle you can see around you. Think of it as adjustable peripheral vision. The only thing is, the image will start to become like a bubble if you make the field too big.
Depth of field has been tested in CS:S before, but I don't think it's officially implemented. You can probably play around in the console and mess with it. - juicebag, on 11/10/2007, -0/+2Check the facepunch forums. You can download the beta of the new version.
- Naryuu, on 11/10/2007, -0/+2omg i was getting garry's mod just for some fun in half life 2. im DEFINITELY GETTING IT NOW
- therightclique, on 11/10/2007, -0/+2how do you get TF2 stuff in garry's mod. I'm at work now, so i can't check, but as of last week, none of the new stuff was in garry's mod (port, tf2, episode 2, peggle extreme)
- h4mx0r, on 11/10/2007, -0/+2The spy of the third picture looks like batman without the pointy ears. Or was it Joker in a batman mask?
- inactive, on 11/10/2007, -0/+2Wow... nice job deskflyer.
- Shaflugi, on 11/11/2007, -0/+2The ones of Team Red in City 17 are the best.
- molochi, on 11/11/2007, -0/+2The radeon 7200 is a 7 year old DX7 card.with less memory bandwidth than a modern desktop. Think Geforce 2 GTS.
- GeForce8800GTX, on 11/10/2007, -0/+2SWEET. backgrounded!
- flarn2006, on 09/30/2008, -0/+1LOL @ 6odirea.jpg
Not the image, the filename. - Katana314, on 11/11/2007, -0/+1The Source Engine itself does not use depth of field; valve uses it for their trailers, but it is not visible ingame for Portal, TF2, or Ep2. Garry's Mod has always had depth of field.
- John6000, on 06/14/2008, -0/+1Garrys mod sux.
