As MLP reader Saiko points out, the pictures are looking to be from Resident Evil 4 for PlayStation 2, with the human being holding the Wiimote spawning from the Metroid Prime 3 promo videos. Stamped as probably fake.

It's not about being a 'fanboy'. The article's title blatantly states that these are scans from a game for the Wii system. As soon as yohn realized that wasn't the case, he undugg the story. It has nothing at all to do with whether or not the game looked good on PS2 or being a fanboy. Actually, the game DID look awesome for PS2. Period. Whether or not it's "last-gen" or "next-gen" or "this-gen" or whatever the hell you're using to defend your dumbass statement, that point stands.
The only "kneejerk reaction" was yours. In your lame-ass attempt to make some point (which would have made sense if you had chosen an appopriate place to put it), you made a dumb mistake and are now trying to pretend you meant something you didn't. Of course it still looks awesome, it's RE4, which is a great looking game. It doesn't change the fact that this article is innacurate. I said in my post that it was a damn nice looking PS2 game. But it's still just a PS2 game.
So, we'll have yohn asnwer this, or you too if you wish.
Even though this isn't for the Wii, do you still consider this game to look awesome? Based on what you would expect for the Wii, or any next gen console for that matter, does it still exceed your expectations?
Do you think that it's as good as it's going to get for the Wii?

Well, whatever your intentions were, you still said it looked awesome. You said it was awesome based on pics of a last gen game. My point still stands that it was a knee jerk reaction based on the fact you thought these were for the Wii and not actually based on the content presented. Unless you expect awesome for the Wii to be competitive with a PS2 or GC game(a very damn fine looking PS2 and GC game though)

Classic. You say it looks awesome, then as soon as you find out it's not the Wii you retract. That's so sad I'm almost at a loss for words. You actually say you're retracting your digg because it's from the PS2. BUT YOU STILL SAID IT LOOKS AWESOME, even though they were last gen pics.
You sir are THE definition of a fan boy -- and I hate using that word.
And to top it all off your comment is being dugg up. Perfect example of the mindset of digg. Complete disregard to any factual evidence, it's just 'Wii is great, Sony sucks' no matter what is presented to you.
