Add in the fact he did this himself and it's quite possible it misses or lags a bit. Plus as others have said, it'd probably be easier just to actually do all that. Did I mention he links to the script to do this?

      Either way, it shows that it's possible in some way so that's cool. As for the people who are dissing him, get a life. Yea, it sorta weirded me out at first, but I quickly got over that when he showed off the capabilities of his lil program.
    • J5892, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The fret (note) is controlled by the tilt of the wiimote in my left hand, and the string is controlled by whatever button I'm pressing on the other wiimote, and the sound is made when I flick my right wrist.
      Also, when I hold the down or the A button on the left wiimote, it simulates the fingering of a chord. That changes the tilt from controlling the fret to controlling which chord fingering it is.
      If I'm holding the A button, I flick my wrist and it plays the whole chord.
      If I'm holding the down button, I can play individual notes in that chord.
      Once you get used to it, it feels somewhat like you're playing a real guitar.

      Also, the lag comes from lag of my computer's bluetooth connection to the wiimotes, and the lag of the sound in my camera. To make the sound loud enough, I attached a small headphone to my camera's microphone.

      Also, you're getting your stereotypes confused. You're thinking of goth. The stereotypical "emo" kid only wears black because that's the only color those witty shirts usually come in.
      Personally, I like blue or red shirts more. Brown is also good, and orange.
