Microsoft, Nintendo Fight Over Numbers: Both Claim Victory
shacknews.com — Xbox 360 maker Microsoft has denied that third party games--titles not produced by the console manufacturer--on the Nintendo Wii sell better than those on the Xbox 360 and Sony's PlayStation 3, contradicting a Nintendo statement from last week.

- fuzmaster, on 08/12/2008, -3/+1no more sucky third party software on wii.
- matt247, on 08/12/2008, -1/+3Third party developers have a better chance of selling more games on the 360, that's all you need to know.
- CrudeDarkness, on 08/12/2008, -1/+4The wii sells more peripherals than games.
- micman52, on 08/13/2008, -2/+1To everyone that is sick and tired of horrible 3rd party Wii titles, like myself, there are some 3rd Party games to look forward to:
- Mad World
- de Blob
- The Conduit (Then again the main character does look like a douche =/ ) - sq2shooter, on 08/13/2008, -0/+3I really don't understand these console pissing matches. What is the friggin point? As a 360 owner, I don't care if it sells more games than other consoles. Like most people, I have friends with PS3's and Wii's and I want all of them to have kick ass games.
- BonersMilloy, on 08/14/2008, -0/+1Yeah, and as a PS3 owner i'm clueless as to why people are crying over FFXII's xbox release. It only hurts Sony.
- warholsbluecat, on 08/14/2008, -0/+132-bit war was the best. Playstation for high profile games, Saturn for the hardcore, and N64 for the nintendo people. Xbox 360 and PS3 might as well be the same system game wise sans a few (very few) high profile exclusive games - and wii is the same nintendo as always.
