- hogrod, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14Direct link to the site:
http://www.xboxlivepipeline.com/ - chris9902, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6it's to preview what's on there.
Something (for whatever reason) that has been missing from the web. - oldtimegamer, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6It allows you to see everything on Xbox Live Market place from the web. You can actually get a good preview of themes which is nice because for some reason you cant see them on the 360.
- codemonkey420, on 10/12/2007, -5/+10Yeah, tell me about it... http://digg.com/users/dirtyfratboy/submitted
So, what your saying is people that contribute to the social network are spammers? Some of these members take the time to contribute content that allows readers (that come here to read) content to actually ....read! Yay!
Now, take your non-contributing self and find another place to troll.
CodeMonkey - rprins, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I'm still waiting for when I can queue up downloads and do other XBL related things from the web. As much as I'd love to sit in front of my 360 all day, I'd like to be able to queue up downloads, trailers, and such when I'm away and have them automagically download when I next boot up my 360.
- optimo, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6I don't get it. Is this for me to look at while away from my xbox?
- Dyaus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4But you can preview them here: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/marketplace/themes.htm
Though it's not completely up to date. - Dyaus, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5And you still can't preview a theme or gamer pics. I love that business strategy. Don't show previews and don't allow refunds if it sucks.
- Bullsnot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4It helps if you dont have a 360 and are wondering what you are missing, or what people are talking about when they discuss this stuff.
- djSyndrome, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3It looks like updates aren't synchronized with the XBLM, either. Dig Dug is listed as "Coming Soon", with the points cost "TBD", even though I downloaded it six hours ago.
- notnoisy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Maybe its a glimpse to things to come for the Xbox 360? Web on Live? :)
- myborgdrone, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Isn't Vista supposed to be able to access this? I know that games are supposed to come out where on person on Xbox360 and another person on Vista can play each other. Maybe it's related.
- kaz928, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3The last question of the survey is something about what you'd like to see added to Xbox Live Pipeline and there is a spot for a write in I said I'd like to be able to see the progress of my downloads from there but now I wish I had thought of queuing(sp?) up downloads from there, damnit.
- Zero2aHero, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Dig Dug no longer has coming soon listed next to it. The only other game that does now is Lumines Live...
- djdigital, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3cool
- dclowd9901, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I think this would be a lot more useful if I could control my 360 from anywhere that has internet access to download the content I want. Then I wouldn't have to wait til I got home to start up the latest demo release. It would be ready for me when I got there. Or I could purchase Live Arcade games from my computer at work, and they would be ready for me when I got home.
I don't think it'd be that difficult, either, if you left your xbox in its dashboard while you were gone. - jccalhoun, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2No I'm saying that if the only stories that anyone submits are from the same site they are spammers. ...kind of like you. funny how the person coming to the defense of the spammer also submits almost exclusively stories from the same site as the spammer...
If one were more cynical they might think that 2old2play is actively spamming digg... - Tantrum, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2If i could dream for a bit, it would be great if this service were tied to my Xbox360. So in the morning i could turn it on and have it logged into Live. Then from work I could browse the catalog and flag for download all the content and demo's i was interested in . Then over the course of the day, the stuff downloads to my 360 so it's there ready for me when I get home.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I think it is great because sony-fan-boys can see what the hell Xbox players have been bragging about without diving in to buying the system.
- wild, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Can we just link directly to the site please?
And that user interface straight sucks. - middleman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Well it will be nice to use instead of browsing through my 360 which I have noticed to be slower then doing it this way. This is allot nicer then the dashboard opening and closing and opening and closing. I do say that being able queue files for download while say at work would be awesome.
- djSyndrome, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1That sounds a hell of a lot better than calling my wife and asking her to download things from XBLM while I'm stuck at work (which never, ever goes as planned).
- teamparadox, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Marked inacurate because your title implies you will be able to buy things via this web interface.
The site is just a way for you to preview or look up content on XBLM without being at an Xbox. - Wolfbeta, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3What a useless website.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3Yeah... this doesn't do anything... It'd be cool if you could queue up downloads from the web or something... but no.
- Taxi27, on 10/12/2007, -10/+5/ignore
- jccalhoun, on 10/12/2007, -28/+3Nice to know that although one may be too old to play, one is not too old to spam.
