- revenge7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Simulating 30 seasons probably takes longer than King Kong. But the easiest games by far are the basketball ones. You can get 1000 points in College Hoops 2k6 in ONE game. NHL 2k6 is really easy, too.

I bet unless you sign up first thing on the 12th, and then play a couple easy 1,000 point games, you still will have a hard time getting a prize after all of the game savers upload their new scores in a matter of minutes.

The only good use of The Diamond Card is to get into a window of your home when you get locked out. Otherwise it is just a useless piece of plastic in your wallet. As for people getting nasty - so be it; but, I do believe that MS needs to reorg the live with more than a Ranked and Unranked arena for play - thus offering noobs and alright (but not great) players areas. Further, they could dictate which area you are allowed to go into via you game score / achievements and at the speed of which you have achieved them. A noob will be slower where as all the sick bastards with high scores are just killing machines and do so at a faster rate. Finally, I don't mind cheating but there should be a live area that - once entered - you are stripped of any and all cheats so that every player is playing with the same attributes - the exception will be who is more skilled naturally (which is something you get to over time and practice).

- vhold, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Eeerrggh.. My beef with this is that there are so many convoluted online achievements and you get players in your game acting completely contrived in order to get them. They'll do stuff like fire one shot and run around for the rest of a match to get an accuracy score, or use only melee weapons to get a "5 melee kills in one match" score and it totally screws up the team dynamic.

- Carteelith, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2I don't think MS realizes how many people already meet the level 3 requirements. Of course, giving away MS points is not a problem, but Fusion Frenzy is not gonna sell *****, and now they're giving it away.
Of course, MS _knows_ how many people have that 10k and above gamerscore, so maybe they planned it that way.
And on a last note, it looks like just having the score doesn't mean much. Unless I didn't read properly (and that's entirely possible) anything you win is electronic only, which means technically they can send it all over the world.
