- ORBAT, on 12/03/2008, -3/+15Next up, Drying Paint Simulator and Growing Grass Simulator!
- LurkingOnDigg, on 12/03/2008, -0/+7Who exactly is the intended audience for this? Will the intended audience want to even touch it?
- Zoplax, on 12/03/2008, -1/+7You are in the Gobi desert at night. You see a camel, a refugee, an orphan, and an AK-47. It's a clear, cold night.
> punch camel
You sock the camel square in the jaw! It tramples the refugee to death! The orphan, his bones showing through skin with starvation, begins plucking chunks of flesh off the refugee's corpse.
> get AK
Ok, you pick up the AK-47. It's got some blood spatter but the magazine is half full.
> shoot camel
You give the camel a lead enema. It dies! You earn 2 experience point(s). The orphan, climbs in tauntaun style and revels in the warmth of camel burger.
> loot
You grope the recesses of the camel's bowels. You find: A salami, a human finger, 5 piece(s) of copper, and a cell phone.
> get phone
You grab the phone. You test to see whether it works, and it does, but the odor of camel feces is distracting to say the least.
> call in food strike
Ok, you contact the resident warlord and ask for a drop. Minutes later you hear the roar of several AC-130 cargo planes. As they fly overhead you see large aid packages fall away from their rear and they're quickly getting bigger!
> dodge aids
You fail! You die.
> pray
You cannot do that.
> reincarnate as George W. Bush
You are now George W. Bush! You find yourself sitting in the Oval Office in the White House. On your desk is a pile of Lego™ people, the majority of whom are white but some of which are yellow, brown and red, and a huge fresnel magnifying lens. It's a bright, sunny day. What do you do?
> smile - honeybrass, on 12/03/2008, -0/+5I hope its the 'Fifth Element' form of negotiation.
- honeybrass, on 12/03/2008, -0/+5"I must deliver these unicef pennies"
"go pennies, feed the starving children!" - Scrappy1850, on 12/03/2008, -1/+5You're incredibly naive if you think Bush is a straight talking politician.....
- norman619, on 12/03/2008, -1/+5Yes because a video game can really prepare them for the REAL world. LOL!!!!!
The idiots who think this game will prepare them for real life situations are in for quite the rude awakening. - Thuban, on 12/03/2008, -0/+4I wonder if on hard mode the grateful natives kill your emissaries, steal the supplies, and use the money to acquire a dirty bomb.
- notwizt, on 12/03/2008, -1/+5Well, people are willing to pay to be able to play World of Warcraft, which essentially is a work simulator where you put in effort and get imaginary ***** in return. Maybe the same people are willing to do imaginary charity work too.
- MrFurious2k, on 12/03/2008, -0/+3Can you imagine a FPS of this game?
MISSION 2: Infiltrate UN, discover corruption with Oil for Food program and assassinate those responsible... with rainbow kittens and flying ponies. - arkaycee, on 12/03/2008, -0/+3Virtual Peace ... because "World of Let's All Sit Down and Have a Peaceful Little Chat About This-Craft" wouldn't fit on the box.
- honeybrass, on 12/03/2008, -0/+3Wow! I never know being bored could be so much fun!
- aterimperator, on 12/03/2008, -0/+3Just let the gamers get a hold of it, it seems unlikely to me that it will remain challenging very long after that.
- Thuban, on 12/03/2008, -0/+3The pussification of society continues. Carlin was more Prophet than comedian.
- Scrappy1850, on 12/03/2008, -1/+4are you high?! the world needs LESS politicians. it doesnt need diplomats either, but why say the world needs politicians?! the world needs more lawyers too, right? i would prefer more random nuttshots than more politicians.
- pe5t1lence, on 12/03/2008, -0/+3Anyone see the new Rambo? This game will turn you into one of those raped and fed to the pigs missionaries.
- Todles, on 12/03/2008, -0/+2The simulation repurposes the technology used in video games such as “World of Warcraft” to help train the next generation of international negotiators.
...lol - Thuban, on 12/03/2008, -1/+3Remember where you are.
- Scrappy1850, on 12/03/2008, -0/+2shut up, hippie.
- Scrappy1850, on 12/03/2008, -0/+2the mods could be hilarious
- sliksta, on 12/04/2008, -0/+2I think anyone that defends that traitor Bush is an asswipe.
- mahler, on 12/03/2008, -0/+1If this game does indeed simulate real disaster relief and conflict resolution conditions as it is supposed to, that should be exactly the thing which will be avoided.
- schmoppa, on 12/04/2008, -0/+1moron
- CynicalTyler, on 12/03/2008, -0/+1I hate those Commie-Nazis!
- arkaycee, on 12/04/2008, -0/+1@Me017, wtf does what Bush promised to do or what Obama's campaign promises were have anything to do with whether Bush's tough talk actually has done us any good in the world?
- bald1, on 12/03/2008, -0/+1Yeah i'm not sure this is gonna take any market share from Gears of war, Call of duty, world in conflict etc...peace is booooriinggg....
- mksmothers, on 12/03/2008, -0/+1How can anyone criticize this attempt at promoting peace? Sure it's not doing anything....
You just answered your own question. - roddack, on 12/03/2008, -2/+2Blankets Check
Small Pox Check
Win? Check - Carbonate, on 12/28/2008, -0/+0In theory this seems pretty good, but its just such an odd way for people to 'virtually' learn to be diplomatic
- Maazer, on 12/03/2008, -0/+0I'll pass on World of Peacecraft...
- proudpheeple, on 12/07/2008, -0/+0Good point sorry for ranting

- nunlover, on 12/03/2008, -4/+2*programs food drive game*
*waits for money* - arkaycee, on 12/03/2008, -3/+2Yeah, all that straight talk from Bush to the rest of the world has really worked out for us -- let's do THAT more.
- proudpheeple, on 12/03/2008, -5/+2How can anyone criticize this attempt at promoting peace? Sure it's not doing anything but at least it trains you for times when you may be required to do this; this program may inspire some to do charitable work. Oh, and for those too dim to realize, they're probably not going to market it: although I would buy it, I doubt most people would find it interesting if this page is anything to judge by.
