- WhereAmI, on 10/14/2007, -2/+425If they are awesome they will accidentally rip that then accident post it to The Pirate Bay.
- jnadke, on 10/10/2007, -11/+262Torrent leak or it didn't happen
- EvanVolm, on 10/13/2007, -8/+212Damn. I'd love to try that out.
- kkaabboomm, on 10/10/2007, -7/+176Matt C: 1
Internet: 0 - Appox, on 10/10/2007, -0/+157Oh you *****, you cut the video before you showed you driving in the warthog.
- rickbauls, on 10/10/2007, -1/+146Unintentionally, of course.
- shinythingy, on 10/10/2007, -2/+133Well unnamed partner sucks
- Days, on 10/15/2007, -7/+100Looks like the same engine Goldeneye: Rogue Agent used. And a little known fact, Rogue Agent was not developed by EA, but an unnamed partner.
- EricJ2190, on 10/10/2007, -1/+79The ROM for this game really needs to get leaked.
- SgtQuackers, on 10/10/2007, -0/+66Yep got to love accidents.
- vagarach, on 10/10/2007, -1/+64Yeah this needs to be put on the internet, if its as doomed to obscurity as they say it is, then let other people enjoy it too. It's not like there's a loss of revenue involved.
- wild, on 10/10/2007, -18/+79Well, now that Bungie is buying back their freedom from MS, they can make a new IP and port it on over to the DS.
- atomicpoet, on 10/10/2007, -1/+55Not really. Microsoft IPs are ported to the DS all the time: Mech Assault, Age of Empires, Viva Pinata. Usually, Majesco publishes them.
- ToastPop, on 04/17/2009, -1/+53oooommmmmggggg.
Leak it. Dump it. Seed it. - AmazingAndrex, on 10/10/2007, -8/+59Matt haters be damned. I never doubted Matt for a second.
- venom8599, on 10/13/2007, -5/+50Bungie can't buy their freedom back from Microsoft. The company is wholly owned, and I doubt very much Microsoft would ever sell it and let go of it's valuable IP, part of which is just the name alone. The people that work at Bungie could quit and make their own studio, but it wouldn't be called Bungie.
- NnyCW, on 10/10/2007, -0/+44I really hope that does happen. Who knows, some other cancelled games have shown up online before...one can dream.
- bittermang, on 10/10/2007, -1/+43Viva Pinata is coming to the DS. There was a spread in Nintendo Power. September or October 2007 issue, I believe.
- frepnog, on 10/10/2007, -1/+42i truly hate who ever is responsible for this not actually being finished. it would have been pretty damned awesome.
- GfunkGbuss, on 10/10/2007, -7/+43Dugg for Pink Floyd.
- atomicpoet, on 10/10/2007, -9/+43Yeah, I don't think that game will ever see the light of day. Still, there is a tiny sliver it is possible. Viva Pinata is rumoured to be coming to the Wii.
- aspec, on 10/10/2007, -8/+42Do you work for EA or something?
Are you actually defending the company that ate and destroyed so many others? - avidlinuxuser, on 10/13/2007, -2/+31Actually, Bungie bought back all their shares from microsoft. http://www.gameinformer.com/News/Story/200710/N07. ...
- beerunifies, on 10/10/2007, -2/+30Stop.Format It.
- AmazingAndrex, on 10/10/2007, -4/+30Because Microsoft obviously can make oodles of money from Halo on THEIR handheld system.
- SweetChinMusic, on 10/10/2007, -1/+26Yes.
- Checkerd, on 10/10/2007, -1/+26Technologic... Technologic....
- Tunguska, on 10/10/2007, -1/+26THEY ***** WESTWOOD! DAMN THEM!
- o0joshua0o, on 10/10/2007, -0/+23Phantom Hourglass pushes the DS hard, and it rocks.
- strictnein, on 10/10/2007, -1/+24Don't worry, EA has got you covered with Madden and every other tired rehash they offer.
- computergod, on 10/10/2007, -2/+24Not to mention how ***** they treat their employees.
- Blackbow, on 10/10/2007, -2/+23Looks amazing. God I love that music. I'd buy a DS for HALO, especially for wifi multiplayer.
- Mrstupid7, on 10/10/2007, -2/+22No, not really.
- MikeWanDo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+20Anyone who doesn't believe I blocked you for being an idiot is a heathen and will burn in hell. Oh wait, you all believe me?
- Myonosken, on 10/10/2007, -0/+19Microsoft would likely allow their teams to port to the DS. Don't forget, in the handheld market, Microsoft is not part of the war, and, lets be honest, sees Sony as more of an opponent than Nintendo.
- Asianwaste, on 10/10/2007, -7/+26HaloDS. Pronouced: Hey-lahds
- Days, on 10/10/2007, -3/+22And they have all been fake. This is the first authentic video to surface.
- majortom1981, on 10/10/2007, -0/+19Oh yeah Mr Big Shot? explain Viva Pinata DS
- coheedcollapse, on 10/10/2007, -9/+27To be honest, I don't like games where they really try to push the DS's graphics. It just ends up looking like crap in the end. All of the best games on that system were either sprite based or semi cel shaded. (Other than, of course, Mario Kart DS, which somehow pulled it off pretty well).
- akeldama, on 10/10/2007, -1/+18A 2 gig micro SD card + a M3 Simply adapter is your answer.
To order: http://www.divineo.com/cgi-bin/div-us/hb-ds-simply
For info: http://www.m3adapter.com/M3DSS.htm - johnmalc, on 10/10/2007, -1/+18Its a RickRoll, folks.
- JohnnyRad, on 10/10/2007, -15/+32i like it on a normal tv, not having to squint. this looks like a generic fps w/ halo wrapped around it, not the same. people that want this version of halo are the same ones who drink game fuel bc it has masterchief on the side.
- zacpol, on 10/10/2007, -0/+17I'd by a broken condom if Master Chief was on the packaging and then use it so my illegitimate children can be spartans, too.
- atomicpoet, on 10/10/2007, -8/+24Won't happen. Nintendo has a lock on the portable market. Sony is barely putting up a fight as it is. Why would Microsoft commit its resources to the portable market when its home console has yet to produce a profit?
In addition, Microsoft has recently closed FASA and let Bizarre be bought out by activision. But if it were to happen, it would be on the Zune. And then, Microsoft wouldn't be releasing "hardcore" titles like Halo but casual games like Bejeweled. - venom8599, on 10/10/2007, -0/+16Probably because it has the potential to get someone fired for leaking information and the build of the game.
- Days, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15unnamed partner (n-space) had nothing to do with the Halo DS not getting made. It was a proof of concept that was done in less than 2 weeks. Microsoft and Nintendo could not reach a mutual agreement of terms on the contract, and eventually negotiations fell through. Believe me, I and a lot of others were saddened to hear the news that it was not going to be made... but it was out of n-Space's hands. So no, unnamed partner doesn't suck... the owners of the IP suck.
- NnyCW, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15Microsoft has allowed many a game to be made for Nintendo's portables. Rare has made a few games for Nintendo in the past on them since Rare was bought by Microsoft.
- venom8599, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15I remember also hearing about a rumor of a Halo DS back before Halo 2 came out. Bungie went into insane Pro-Active mode trying to quash those rumors on it's forums.
- AshTR, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15The correct word is stylus. Not stylist. Unless you've been playing "naughty" with your hair stylist before playing your DS.
- Supernova36, on 10/10/2007, -1/+16I doubt they had that bit developed yet..
