- Bobafettjm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I can't wait for this. This mod will make me finally buy Half Life 2 for sure. The only thing I am worried about is that it won't FEEL at all like Goldeneye. It will have the same levels/Characters/weapons, but it wont FEEL like Goldeneye.

Although Goldeneye's gameplay was fun, we're just seeing too many remakes in new graphics... I wish they'd just focus on gameplay for new games. - PhantomaZero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I hope the source engine doesn't destroy the classic feel that Goldeneye posessed. One such this is being able to jump, which I hope they get rid of. Also, the controls for the N64 weren't as good, but fairly unique indeed.
- TC-14, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I've got to say, the MOD is showing some good progression, I'm hoping that it does reach the community before the copyright owners of the original Goldeneye game (I remember Rare were the developers but didn't they get bought out by Microsoft?. Just checked, yes, they were bought by Microsoft: "Part of Microsoft Game Studios since 2002"; rareware.com).
Anyway, I was part of a MOD team for a Duke Nukem Source MOD, except we got contacted by 3D Realms and were asked to cease development before they would fire up the ol' lawsuit.

- Hiomation, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0OMFG I LOVE THIS GAME! i use to love playing it on the N64, in my opinion it was the only good game nintendo offered. i played it like a crack fiend. then half-life came out. and that totally was the end of goldeneye. but now, half-life 2 and the source engine will resurrect it for sure.
