    it's very useful, especially for those who missed spore @ e3 or were busy looking @ the wii and other things.
  • IcyJoey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Hrm. Remember how in the GDC video a while back Will Wright showed us a Carebear creature that the designers had already created? Will that even be an issue when the game is released, copyright wise? I mean, if someone creates a whole planet full of Ewoks, or Hutts.. Lucas is very protective of his little franchise empire..

    A whole planet full of Gungans would be fun, though. They'd be wiped out instantly. *dances*

  • wai_xing_ren, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I hope that a realistically-modelled Earth (with matching solar system) will be available as an easter egg, if not achievable once the editors are unlocked.

    Also, he mentioned in the Robin Williams video that player-created species will behave the way their creator played them, so I wonder if competition will develop to create the most devastating imperial race. It would be great to find out that your race is terrorizing players around the world, conquering whole galaxies, and so on.

  • TheBrandman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think it might be. It's not really a strict mouse and keyboard game. I was wondering though, do you think you can make flying creatures? They showed one with wings but never really explained it before. Also, do you think that we can chose not to get out of water and build our tribe from there?

    As for the water thing, I remember seeing in on of the videos that you can create a civilization under the water, which will have a bubble dome around it. That's really the extent of it, though.

  • ZekeTheSquirrel, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I guess I can wait 'till mid '07 for it. It sounds like a really difficult game to create and I would expect some delays. This is no doubt going to be THE game of 2007. Who hasn't wanted to play god before, or take over the galaxy with a species of alien you created yourself.

    I WILL be getting this ASAP!
