- chokeslam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15morons. all of you. US and japan are in the same region for blu-ray.
- gatorrock, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13I have the boxes to ALL of my systems (and even most games) back the Sega Master system. When I move they are repacked. And now with my new systems coming, the old ones will be repacked and stored perfectly fine. I can be assured I have everything for them in the future when I want to play them again (of course with the Wii that may make them pointless if I can play all my favorites games on it- have to wait and see)
- solarisom, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12Is it just me, or does the camerawoman just *sound* hideous?
- justingj, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Either he just moved into his apt, or he should have spent the $600 on furniture instead of a PS3.
- chokeslam, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10there will be virtual reality unboxing games by that time. i, for one, welcome our new unboxing overlords.
- eplawless, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8because... he is an english... speaker?
- JonBuddy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Yeah. I loved how he said "very exciting" in that dull voice.
- kingfoot, on 10/12/2007, -6/+13yes it can, its region free.
- catpounce004, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Maybe I should post a video of me opening a box, only to find another box, etc ad nasuem. That ad naseum part is how I feel seeing posted videos of box opening.
- SkippyDoorknob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6CheapyD lives in Japan, it wasn't shipped to the US.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6That's a pretty damn spacious apartment for Tokyo.
- Raian, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Okay I have to mention this: In a hundred years is the internet just going to be a device we use to watch people "unbox" things... stop with the unboxing PLEASE... enough is enough.

SIXAXIS... very exciting *worthlessly toss to side*
Lan cable... very exciting *toss with sixaxis* - pigsbladder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4It's the size of an 80's ferguson video star with the remote on a wire...
- iameightyseven, on 10/12/2007, -7/+11Ah, the launch of a new console and the unpacking of its box... such a unique feeling and moment.
- reddevil3, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Its region free for the games, not the movies.
The MPAA gets involved when it comes to movies. - SuperSunny, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I dislike Sony, but personally, I think it would still kick ass to own a Ps3 right now after I heard about the Other OS installation feature.
- SkippyDoorknob, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5He lives in Japan
- adidos, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6Correction, he actually said "Waiting on line is for suckers!". "on line" and "online" are different things.
I think "on line" was supposed to be "in line" and not online in terms of the Interweb. - ArizonaKid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I just moved back to NYC from AZ, and I can tell you saving the XBOX 360 box is a great idea. The box is actually rather minimal, and provides good protection for the long car ride.
- Evari, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3its bigger than my VCR was
- growler1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Did he just say "Oh, gravy" ?
- erkokite, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5That thing is the size of my old VCR.
- Black913Hole, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4he actually said "waiting online is for suckers." not inline.
- MadMoses, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2http://www.ps3grill.com/
- enforcerpsu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2oh wow, an unboxing video. Someone please hold me down, im freaking out with excitment. You mean hes actually taking it out of the box!!?? Holy *****, amazing...
/yawn - ZeroMP, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2ZOMG!!1 A BOX! and he OPENED it!
My life is now complete. - b0bx13, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2They didn't ship it to the US. Cheapy is in Tokyo.
- guitarh3ro, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4"How are they getting them so early? They don't get released for a few days still.
This is one of many "unboxing" posts I've seen around."
It's called preordering from Amazon.co.jp...and considering the PS3 launched in Japan yesterday...get it? - chokeslam, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3you just severely dated yourself, buddy... or should i call you grandpa
- Nobi-Wan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That and the fact that it's ALWAYS safe to keep the original box for any electronic item. Electronics most often need to be replaced and if anything goes wrong you can have your UPC and SKU code handy. If you need to return an item you have a better chance of being taken seriously if you return the item in the original packaging.
- garreh, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2That sure is one shiny 450 quid mirror.
- granny2k5, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1http://wiki.cheapassgamer.com/index.php/CheapyD
- HappyScrappy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Massive Damage!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+6aww are you just mad cause your mommy wont buy you one this christmas?
- chokeslam, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4you are a complete tool
- mhuggins, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1"Waiting on line is for suckers!"
I hate people who say "on line" instead of "in line". You're not ON TOP of the line, you're a member of it, AKA you're IN it. - someguy9, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2how did this make frontpage? we have all seen unboxing of ps3... we want soem gameplay ppl
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -8/+7Sounds like he got his wife from asia too. Cheap bastard.
- BSherrod, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3That was an incredibly smart move right there, he saved a good bit of many, especially considering the shipping, i bet that was ridiculously high.
- Evari, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3if he lives in japan why would he want US blu-ray movies?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+3Amazing they shipped it to the US considering that Sony shut down that company that was going to ship them into the EU coz sony are being ***** about releasing them there well after everywhere else has them.
- steverl22, on 10/12/2007, -9/+4Love some cheapyD.....
- razdigital, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2Can't wait for the bugs to appear, remember the overheating issue with the XBox 360 when it first came out with the overheating issue. I don't know if it still occurring but its better to just wait out the bugs and the problems seen during initial release stage. I would hate for the system to break down right after the day of the system warranty ends.
- skoles, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2Oh it was already released in Japan? I thought I read some time ago that the Japan launch was coming after the American one for some reason (or simu release). Which is normally unheard of.
- mywhitenoise, on 10/12/2007, -10/+5$614 for the PS3 and 2 games!? *****, man, that's awesome.
- kenvsryu, on 10/12/2007, -12/+6Too bad it can't play US Bluray movies.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -16/+8Yeah, bankruptcy is sweet!
