- goldenhearted, on 02/13/2008, -1/+175BioWare: Light side points gained
- hockey, on 02/13/2008, -4/+117I sense a disturbance in the force, as if millions of voices cried out in joy. . . then it got louder.
- blackbeardtron, on 02/13/2008, -2/+87I find your lack of faith disturbing.
- canhelie, on 02/13/2008, -6/+88thank god it's not going to be a pos mmo
- greevar, on 02/13/2008, -1/+70I'll get the microscope!
- navster15, on 02/13/2008, -3/+51Normally this news would cause me to jump for joy, but with EA in the mix now, I may have to hold off on the unrestrained enthusiasm for a little while longer.
- CrimsonBlur, on 02/13/2008, -0/+41Bioware didn't make KOTOR2, which is the reason it was a bit lacking compared to the first one. I'm sure if Bioware is back in the game for the third it will be fantastic.
- blackbeardtron, on 02/13/2008, -0/+32Force Lightning? UNLIMITED POWAAAH!!!!
- pastaq, on 02/13/2008, -3/+32STOP ***** SAYING THAT!
GRAHGARHGARAHGrAHaHH!!!
(Bury button is not enough anymore) - BlaenkDenum, on 02/14/2008, -0/+23Both KOTORs were insanely awesome. I just recently played the first one again during my absence from the Internet, and I can't express how much I love the game. Before, I played in a rush, with the objective of beating it, but if you take your time with it, it really is a beautiful game with a dynamic and complex story. Truly a must have for any Star Wars fan.
- xkingADROCKx, on 02/14/2008, -2/+24Oh snap
- CaffeinePowered, on 02/13/2008, -8/+28Honestly I just hope its not as bad as the second one, please don't give us a half baked game again
- fearlessfx, on 02/13/2008, -2/+22YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!
/vader orgasm - jmhyer51, on 02/14/2008, -0/+18It will never make up for all the dark side points they gained by selling to EA.
- Brad324, on 02/14/2008, -0/+17you can tell when people are giddy about good news, because they start digging things up aimlessly. "oh my jeebers, I like pie! Pie! Pie!!" - DUGG!
- Gir53457, on 02/14/2008, -1/+17You've never played KOTOR then I take it. The Dark Side was way more fun.
- xkingADROCKx, on 02/14/2008, -0/+16SOMEONE GET THE STRAWBERRIES, BECAUSE I JUST CREAMED MYSELF.
- TheTaoOfBill, on 02/13/2008, -0/+15Why wouldn't you just want a simotanious release? Do you get joy in watching console owners suffer? That's kind of mean...
- inactive, on 02/14/2008, -1/+15This was one game that made me keep my old Xbox for as long as I did, let's hope it's just as good as Mass Effect
- allan17, on 02/14/2008, -2/+16crackle & pop
- jmhyer51, on 02/14/2008, -0/+13Not bad, just not as good.
- HolyChimp, on 02/14/2008, -0/+12BREAKING: Game studios can work on more than one game at a time, especially game studios with EA footing the bill.
- str1fe, on 02/14/2008, -0/+10kotor3 even
- mortinmaxwell, on 02/14/2008, -0/+9Never!
- abhinavkumar, on 02/13/2008, -5/+14Oh my god. Possibly the greatest collaborative of all time has struck lightening again.
- KMartSheriff, on 02/14/2008, -0/+9fore?
- tattertech, on 02/14/2008, -0/+9To be fair, what's EA going to do, push them to release the game early and buggy?
- wheezyninja, on 02/14/2008, -0/+9I was all excited because I had forgotten about EA being involved then I read your comment... and I was saddened
- Varz, on 02/14/2008, -0/+9Agreed, thought it was still good just not as good.
Thats one of the problems making sequels to open ended games. I just wished they'd picked a route and stuck with it rather than have all that vague BS trying to compensate for both directions the original game could have taken.
The game was rushed for a Christmas release and a lot of the dialogue was removed, a lot of the subplots like the G0T0 droid's were just dropped. - inactive, on 02/13/2008, -1/+10I hope this is true, and that they won't make it an MMO. That would completely and utterly destroy KOTOR. This will ***** rule, especially if they use the good stuff from Mass Effect while improving upon its lacking areas.
- inactive, on 02/14/2008, -3/+12Thanks to Wikipedia, I just discovered that the mother of Moses was Jochebed.
- CharlesSaint, on 02/14/2008, -2/+11I don't know man, EA has been acting eerily good lately... http://kotaku.com/348187/ea-calls-fox-out-on-insul ...
But I'm with you man, I'll be the first to jump on them if they ***** this one up. - GeneralFailure0, on 02/14/2008, -0/+8You got a whole race made up of women in Mass Effect. What more do you need?
- Nickbc87, on 02/14/2008, -0/+8The story was seriously lacking. Kreia was the best part of KOTOR2.
- Sabretou, on 02/14/2008, -0/+8I find your lack of faith disturbing.
- inactive, on 02/13/2008, -1/+8I kinda don't hope all of these Star Wars games are good, I don't have enough money for them all.
- speedk0re, on 02/14/2008, -0/+7that made me spit out water laughing... thanks!
- CharlesSaint, on 02/14/2008, -1/+8YOU DON'T KNOW THE POWER OF THE DARK SIDE!!!
- Lane, on 02/14/2008, -2/+9I mean I don't want some BS simplified control scheme that's been dumbed down so it correlates with a controller. I have 150 keys in my arsenal use them instead of some retarded click here then there and finally you have your light saber selected crap. Look at bioshock for example, lower your sensitivity all the way down and it creates A DEAD ZONE in your mousing. I had to lower my DPI to 400 and it still wasn't as slow as I would have liked but their was no way to fix it. Oblivion was a RPG with a great design for quick selecting items so you were never out of the action long enough to lose the experience of being there. I could care less about a release date.
- TheTaoOfBill, on 02/13/2008, -5/+12Honestly I liked KOTOR2 the best. I don't get what's so bad about it. Maybe there were some areas it was lacking from the first one but the character interaction was revolutionary. The way you could actually train members of your party to be Jedi seriously kicked ass!
- Nickbc87, on 02/14/2008, -0/+7Kriea had a lot of depth, and her views on light/dark were both unexpected and interesting.
- unfinity, on 02/14/2008, -0/+7*slow clap*
- HolyChimp, on 02/14/2008, -0/+7Oblivion's menu system was simplified for console, and that simplification got carried over to PC. I suppose when Mass Effect comes to PC in may we'll see if they bothered to fix the menu system, especially the inventory screens.
- wheezyninja, on 02/14/2008, -0/+7Seriously... Though you have to admit Force Unleashed looks sick, especially if they can deliver on the promises of the game
- bweltondav, on 02/14/2008, -0/+6Mass effect 2 is already confirmed, so i'm guessing a kotor2 would come much later down the line.
- allan17, on 02/14/2008, -0/+6skin?
- STKD, on 02/14/2008, -0/+6The plural of Jedi is Jedi.
- BIGJHUB, on 02/14/2008, -0/+6i think i speak for everyone when i say. OMG OMG OMG
- Fracture98, on 02/14/2008, -0/+5So the court order has expired?
