It makes me worried that some of us haven't learned the word "has" yet. - Renton, on 10/11/2007, -8/+16*haves a seizure"
- Sailboat37, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8Famicom games do not change facial expressions.
- BIGmog, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9I suddenly feel like playing NES.
- undyboy91, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7I keep hitting the 'Start' button on my computer but nothing is happening.
- JMacGill, on 10/11/2007, -2/+8That was NOT chronological.
- TheCasablancan, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7... At 00:23, I think I saw "Douche Boy".
o.O - hackajar, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7Why were games repeated? Release dates in Japan / America differ I guess?

Welcome to Microsoft Windows. - ApolloBoy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Danners, those were never released for the Famicom.
- djSyndrome, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Actually, yes it was - they were ordered by Japanese release date.
- notbrittish788, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4from the description: "Music: "Magic Bird of Fire" - Magic Journey / The Salsoul Orchestra"

A few games in Japan saw their initial release on the Famicom Disk System, only to be released later in cartridge format as the FDS format died out. SMB1 and Zelda are two that come immediately to mind. but there were others as well. - triblinator, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3**comment abuse** @theman: Mario 2 was released in Japan, as a direct follow up to the first, just a whole lot harder. But they decided it was too hard for Americans, so instead Nintendo bought a game called Doki Doki Panic, changed around a few sprites, and sold it in the states as Mario 2. If you want to play the original, Japanese, Mario 2, it can be found in the States as Mario 2: The Lost Levels within Super Mario All-Stars, for Super Nintendo. Definatly worth reading about on your own, but that's the gist of it.
(Not an instult theman, but is there really anyone who hasnt heard that story 100 times before?) - digitul, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2cbs didn't make it, just licensed it. remember the old wheel of fortune and jeopardy games?
- dystopianray, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2They may not have been released in Japan.
- wattersm, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Why would the template change? On most games you only have a few things to pick from: 1 player, 2 players, or Options for games that have them. It's also a lot easier to standardize title screens, then you can just recycle the code.
- orb_nsc, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Maybe that published by the same company that released SCAT:
http://www.1980-games.com/us/old-games/nintendo/s/SCAT_-_Special_Cybernetic_Attack_Team/game.php - bedouin, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Save yourself 300 seconds: just wait for it to load and move the position marker to the end with your mouse. Done in 10 seconds.
- nintendomaniac, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2At 0:54, you can see a game (black background, has green vines and snakes) that says at the bottom of the screen:
©CBS/SONY INC. 1986
Since when did CBS, let alone _SONY_, make an NES game?! - derjames, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1nintendo Rocks....

- blumer, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2Dugg for the fun trip down memory lane as well as all the franchises that I never new had games associated with them (Garfield, the Major League movies ...)
- Aeron, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1such good memories!
- SgtBlue, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1Hmm, I sense some underlying similarities here....but I can't put my finger on it...
These really give me the feeling that they sat one guy at a cubicle with a single template to follow and a bunch of random graphics, and maybe MS Paint, and told him to have at it. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -5/+2thats what she said
- Notyavgkat, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1i saw super mario bros at least 10 times
- theman8631, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1Woah there was a super mario brothers 2 with super mario brothers 1 graphics and screen. WTF? I never knew they made a 2nd super mario brothers 1 game.
