First Video of Elmo Live Singing and Dancing watch!
gizmodo.com — Here's Elmo Live performing his newest rap hit, "Elmo's Gotta Get On Up". His moves are smooth and funky, his style reminds us of hip-hop's old school pioneers, and his biggest fan is a mad scientist. How could it get any better?

- KibibyteBrain, on 02/14/2008, -0/+12This is the most unholy black magic I have ever witnessed.

- Gir53457, on 02/14/2008, -1/+4Japan may have a robot that is capable of walking awkwardly down a flight of stairs, but we are mass producing Muppets that can do Jazz hands.
- kd1s, on 02/15/2008, -0/+1I know, so much cooler than boring Japanese robots. You know, this is eerily reminiscent of the movie AI, remember the little mecha bear the kid had? This is scarily close to that.
- ngmcs8203, on 02/14/2008, -1/+1You're right, that thing is pretty damn funny. But more importantly, I thought we were boycotting gizmodo. Is that over now?
- Gir53457, on 02/14/2008, -0/+2You can't boycott anything with Elmo.
- hexr, on 02/15/2008, -0/+1I agree... but now all they need to do to make this more fun is set him on FAIAAA! ;)

- shinramen, on 02/14/2008, -2/+118Not so much "proud soccer mother"...more like "PLEASE WORK YOU PIECE OF ***** OR I'M SERIOUSLY *****...KEEP SMILING...KEEP DANCING..."
- sockpuppets, on 02/14/2008, -1/+20It's deeper than that. Much deeper.
- KibibyteBrain, on 02/14/2008, -0/+7He's the engineering degree holding high tech equivalent of the middle aged mom living through the success of her actor/singer/cheerleader/gymnast/etc daughter.
- chris4404, on 02/14/2008, -0/+24I believe hes a cross of engineer/drama club.

- rspeed, on 02/14/2008, -1/+6Nobody on Digg has a sense of humor.
- ReadItAndWeep, on 02/14/2008, -3/+3Digg's become too politically correct lately. The best humor is usually politically incorrect, but the ***** here choose to get offended instead of having a laugh.
- zephyr42, on 02/14/2008, -2/+12^^ Bury that one

- Haohmaru, on 02/14/2008, -0/+7But just think of the level of greatness this man has just achieved. His exuberance will not be contained.
- DiggzDE, on 02/14/2008, -0/+6That guy in the lab coat really freaked me out. He was either very excited or very turned on. Or both. And it just creeped me out.
- oo7b0nds, on 02/14/2008, -0/+10YEASS!! *CLAP CLAP* *tear*
- Alfonzo, on 02/14/2008, -0/+2 . . . he's like a Gob Bluth that invented a toy for children . . .
- markperia, on 02/14/2008, -0/+2you do know that Gob Bluth is redundant right?
GOB= George Oscar Bluth
- markperia, on 02/14/2008, -0/+2you do know that Gob Bluth is redundant right?

- Adrianne, on 02/14/2008, -0/+3I dunno, he is pretty cute and he looks like a mad scientist. I'd hit that.
[Imagines life with screaming robot Elmo children]
Maybe not...- miggie, on 02/15/2008, -0/+1He is cute. I definitely hit. What I don't get is why so many people keep reposting this from different sources. Why are digg users such jerk.
- s0nicfreak, on 02/14/2008, -0/+9He was more entertaining than Elmo.
- elijahalcantara, on 02/15/2008, -1/+2You're right, it reminds me of this video:
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=iShb6NBtCI4- postalblowfish7, on 02/15/2008, -0/+1o_0;;
- Zybergod, on 02/17/2008, -0/+1.. kevin likes you.
He does.
- shinramen, on 02/14/2008, -2/+118Not so much "proud soccer mother"...more like "PLEASE WORK YOU PIECE OF ***** OR I'M SERIOUSLY *****...KEEP SMILING...KEEP DANCING..."
- Jonmad17, on 02/14/2008, -2/+52The guy showing it off seems VERY proud of it. Almost like a mom at a school play.
- Ikulus, on 02/14/2008, -0/+7I'd be damn proud if I created that.
- Gir53457, on 02/14/2008, -0/+4The Elmo toys are actually quite amazing feats of engineering. And extremely creepy looking without their fur.
- antdude, on 02/14/2008, -0/+2So like Terminators.
- colin8651, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1Do you think it is an actor they paid for the press conference or an actual engineer?
- contradictator, on 02/15/2008, -0/+1Welcome to the Fisher Price Enrichment Center, you are now in possession of the Sesame Street Jazz Hands device. Do not touch the operational end of the device. Do not look directly at the operational end of the device. Do not submerge the device in liquid, even partially. Most importantly, under no circumstances should you---BZZT.
- dariusperkins, on 02/14/2008, -2/+4Get 'em in quick before the Xmas 2008 sell-out...
- AdamTReineke, on 02/14/2008, -0/+33Pick up the hottest toy this Christmas from all major toy retailers on Oct. 14 for $59.99, or a week later for $119.99 on eBay.
- Unclekoolaid, on 02/14/2008, -0/+33And so it begins..
- chris4404, on 02/14/2008, -10/+14I for one welcome our new robot Elmo lords.
- Calcularius, on 02/14/2008, -3/+9I for one will blow it away with my shotgun.
- skippy17, on 02/14/2008, -0/+126Oh god, if this becomes self aware we are soooo *****
- UtopiaInTheSky, on 02/14/2008, -2/+1I'm not scared of Elmo dolls.
- rjinswand, on 02/14/2008, -1/+2I, however, am...
- Shadowfox99, on 02/14/2008, -0/+6Oh you will be.....you will be......wait till the new tickle me and die elmo comes out
- NotOptium, on 02/14/2008, -6/+1[Insert obligatory 'I for one welcome...' comment]
- Ataxia2008, on 02/14/2008, -1/+3Don't worry John Connor will sort 'em out for us.
- Zippo, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1that's why man invented thermite.
- UtopiaInTheSky, on 02/14/2008, -2/+1I'm not scared of Elmo dolls.

- ramsfan12889, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1That will haunt me for the rest of my life!
- distilledgt, on 02/14/2008, -1/+23that guy..
- Qtip42, on 02/14/2008, -1/+57Something creepy about the guy next to elmo...
- shinramen, on 02/14/2008, -0/+23rd video down: "Elmo...why don't you tell us a story of WOE...a story of WONDER...a....STORY..."
- magoblygoo, on 02/20/2008, -0/+1well i guess that happens when you have no social life, or that social life involves talking to a red toy.
- shinramen, on 02/14/2008, -0/+23rd video down: "Elmo...why don't you tell us a story of WOE...a story of WONDER...a....STORY..."
- Nick05, on 02/14/2008, -1/+1What the heck
- gannondork, on 02/14/2008, -0/+78Poor Elmo has a tapeworm that's hanging out of his ass.
- sockpuppets, on 02/14/2008, -0/+30Colostomy Bag Elmo.™
- AndrewDB, on 02/14/2008, -1/+11Enema Elmo.™
It teaches kids alliteration and how to keep a clean bowel!
- lostboy, on 02/14/2008, -0/+30How long till someone sets it on fire and sticks a video on youtube?
previous elmo's and their grisly end:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtX7erRTxOU- SmpleJohn, on 02/14/2008, -0/+5That's uplifting...
- Akaji, on 02/14/2008, -1/+6That's possibly the best video I've ever seen on YouTube...
- spidoman, on 02/14/2008, -0/+6The music choice made that video simply amazing. Also at 1:40 you can see his eyes burning. Awesome.
- santafr0g, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1That video was amazing; I would digg it up multiple times if possible.
- SillyRabbits, on 02/14/2008, -0/+3Blah, that video is just a bad ripoff of the original. Not having the real sound just ruins it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYGhmJD9LKc&feature ... - guibom, on 02/15/2008, -0/+1Am I the only that finds this video INCREDIBLY sad? He keeps on dancing, and dancing... and dancing.
And the worst part is that if it was a person on fire, I wouldn't care this much.
- diggit23, on 02/14/2008, -1/+1IT'S ALIIIIIIIIVE!!!!
- DannoSpeaks, on 02/14/2008, -0/+10That guy in the lab coat looks like he wants to take Elmo home and teach him some new moves...
- bethehammer, on 02/14/2008, -7/+1I want to punch that labcoat #ucker in the nose - then set elmo on fire like lostboy suggested
- mary76, on 02/14/2008, -0/+6That looks like it would kill you in your sleep.
- Calcularius, on 02/14/2008, -1/+3I KNOW!!
...and the robot is pretty crappy, too. - MillionsLivio, on 02/14/2008, -0/+4Elmo knows where you live!
- Calcularius, on 02/14/2008, -1/+3I KNOW!!
- radink360, on 02/14/2008, -1/+12stop that man. stop him now.
- 3amboo, on 02/14/2008, -1/+1im so scared...
- nuggetz, on 02/14/2008, -1/+18Lets see him try that without the chair. NOOB
- lostngone, on 02/14/2008, -1/+5Hackers Paradise!
How long before someone gets Elmo to do "The Nasty". - edrift101, on 02/14/2008, -0/+13I'll have to buy one of these and hack it to say evil things. :) Muhahahahahaha
"Elmo's going to stab you, while you sleep."- MASTERPL, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1I've always wanted to hack an elmo to say something crazy, but only once every 50 times to make the owner look crazy when trying to prove it.
- Stormwysper, on 02/14/2008, -0/+10Is that guy having an orgasm?
- koft, on 02/14/2008, -1/+2Kids will get bored with this product. There are only but so many stories you can stuff into the thing before they've heard them all and toss it in the corner with all the other crap.
If i had a kid I'd probably spring for this elmo thing just because it looks really cool, and it's the most animated doll toy i've ever seen. I wonder if my dad though the same thing when he got me that alf doll back in '86 where the mouth moved with the audio on the cassette tape. Yea, I tossed that thing in the corner pretty quick...- cyberdork, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1Kids get bored with every toy... except for LEGO.
- matthewdestroys, on 02/14/2008, -2/+38 year olds dude.
- mediaspree, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1That ***** Kintana can roll, man
- etx313, on 02/14/2008, -0/+4Ok, that guy in the video freaks me out.
- mikusd, on 02/14/2008, -2/+0do kids really go for these things (and parents, for the high price tags)?
even at a young age, i think the novelty would have worn off after i saw it in the store- jonahan52, on 02/14/2008, -1/+2YES the novelty of this makes kids go nuts. Hell my daughter has watched the same Dora DVD at my Mom's house for like 2 months and still loves the ***** out of it.
- koft, on 02/14/2008, -0/+3Kids want whatever their friends have regardless of how lame it is. Parents often buy toys for kids to watch them play with it for their own amusement. I think this toy will sell pretty well with parents buying it because the parents themselves think it's really cool, little kids will just see it as standard for a toy, they don't have any previous history to understand why it's as neat as it is. Overall, every new generation has cooler stuff to play with than the previous one.
- Ataxia2008, on 02/14/2008, -2/+1For example, I used to want a Sega Saturn because my friend had one.
Looking back - Wow, what an expensive piece of ***** that was...- s0nicfreak, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1***** you
- Ataxia2008, on 02/14/2008, -2/+1For example, I used to want a Sega Saturn because my friend had one.
- mikusd, on 02/15/2008, -0/+0well, that wasnt me as a kid. i liked...sports and nintendo, not animatronic dolls.
- Jolene, on 02/14/2008, -0/+2Is it wrong that I really want one of these..?
- LetsGoHokies, on 02/14/2008, -0/+4My kid is going to ***** when he sees that. My money is as good as theirs
- dudefaceguyman, on 02/14/2008, -0/+10What cracked me up wasn't the Elmo (though VERY impressive!) but the mad scientist behind elmo. He's hilariously proud of his creation. Hahah gotta love his finger wag during the end of the rap.
- AndrewDB, on 02/14/2008, -0/+4This has inspired me to make Elmos for my world in Spore.
- calroot, on 02/14/2008, -1/+7It would be better if the Elmo didn't have a wire sticking out of its ass. This is way more impressive: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_UVklCbThI
- Mothrog, on 02/14/2008, -0/+3It ought to be. Those Plens cost $2,000 versus Elmo's $59.99.
- kohan69, on 02/14/2008, -0/+21Fisher Price should sell Lab Coat Guy. He's Awesome.
- PrettyMuchBryce, on 02/15/2008, -0/+1If he tells jokes and stories I would buy him.
- BobbyMC, on 07/21/2008, -20/+2I really hate the soccer moms and pussy whipped dads that run this ***** site now. NO ONE CARES ABOUT STUPID GIMMICKY ELMO DOLLS. SHUT THE ***** UP AND DIE. IF YOUR KIDS LIKE THIS *****, CONGRATULATIONS. THEY ARE STUPID AS *****.
I was relatively young when the original Tickle Me Elmo POS came out and I recall wondering why I was 100 times more intelligent than all the idiot parents waiting in the cold for this *****. I'm still not entirely sure, but I think it has something do with meatbags having to find meaning in their pathetic lives by pampering stupid children who will inevitably end up being just as useless to society.
I HATE YOU ALL.- MillionsLivio, on 02/14/2008, -0/+2We hate you too.
- Ataxia2008, on 02/14/2008, -0/+2Kill yourself, please. No-one loves you.
- BackEnThaWomb, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1Does this mean you are leaving?
- s0nicfreak, on 02/14/2008, -0/+2Please tell us more about how you're a 13 year old filled with hate.
- dragonlink2, on 02/14/2008, -1/+1someone needs a hug
- miggie, on 02/15/2008, -0/+1Homes if you want I can give you some of the meds I'm on it will make you feel better. :-)
- beerbarron, on 02/14/2008, -2/+1I'm 30 and still wants it :(
- JavertHolmes, on 02/14/2008, -0/+16I challenge you to watch this video and *not* get distracted by the developer in the background.
- AndrewDB, on 02/14/2008, -0/+2Damn it. I failed. :(
- eberts, on 02/14/2008, -1/+1How many people thought the guy in the back on the left had a prosthetic left hand, that he'd remove at the end of the demonstration and beat the other guy over the head with.
Secret fantasy, I guess. - DarthMonkey, on 02/14/2008, -2/+1Well, I know what I'll be selling, for a ridiculous amount, on Ebay this Christmas....
- Calculon, on 02/14/2008, -0/+4Geez.. that "scientist" is totally creepsville...
- pcore, on 02/14/2008, -0/+6Elmo is eventually going to evolve into a killer robot.
- lovecss, on 02/14/2008, -1/+2It's official. Elmo makes you camp.
- will500, on 02/14/2008, -2/+1VERY COOL! That guy in the lab coat ruins it.
Elmo still creeps me out though... - flamyngo, on 02/14/2008, -1/+4Forget Elmo! Where can I get me one of those robotic dudes with the white coats in the background!?!
- HeatVision, on 02/14/2008, -0/+10Glue a knife to his hand and watch him do that routine again. You'd feel like a hostage. "That was great story Elmo. What? You want to tell another? Oh, okay, I guess I don't have to leave the house today."
- row2k, on 02/14/2008, -0/+4This elmo dances better than I do.
- Egg333, on 02/14/2008, -0/+2It seems the blade runner days are closer than we think.
- FredFredrickson, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1Elmo is a replicant?
- xxgigavirusxx, on 02/14/2008, -1/+1Elmo wants blood!
- floatingpoints, on 02/14/2008, -1/+3WTF is up with that guy behind him?
Reminds me of that crazy guy on Ghostbusters 2
