- vexingmodstwo, on 07/21/2008, -2/+4I still get goosebumps when I hear that cheer. There's nothing like being in Beaver Stadium on a crisp fall day and being part of that tradition. The "THANK YOU" and "YOU'RE WELCOME!" part is the best.

- joepaterno, on 07/21/2008, -0/+1Hey now. If I told you I run a linux server at home, you'd digg the crap out of it.
- psukiddie, on 07/21/2008, -2/+7After seeing nothing but calls for JoePa to step down as of late, it's great to see some upbeat news about this guy that has meant so much not just to Penn State but to college football as a whole. This is a guy who has his priorities in order and recognizes that winning and losing is only part of the equation. Far too rare in college sports these days...
- AmericanGunner, on 07/21/2008, -3/+2dugg for word chides.
- fool13, on 07/21/2008, -2/+4Well deserved, he's a legend among college football.
- jackspade, on 07/21/2008, -2/+3My respect for him increased 10 fold after hearing how he made the team stay after winning a game to clean up Beaver stadium (currently the largest stadium in the country) because of all the crap they were getting into.
- vexingmodstwo, on 07/21/2008, -2/+2If anyone has ever earned the right to go out on his terms, it is Joe Paterno.
- RandolphDuke, on 07/21/2008, -5/+2JoePa poops his pants.
Flutie is his daddy. - oMeSSiaHo, on 07/21/2008, -2/+3I'm not really into sports but JoePa always seemed like a class act. I dont think I've ever heard him say something bad about an opposing team.
Plus he's in bread commercials. YAY BREAD!- maino82, on 07/21/2008, -2/+3That's why I'm proud to be a PSU alum!
I'll let you decide whether it's because he's a class act or because of bread.
- maino82, on 07/21/2008, -2/+3That's why I'm proud to be a PSU alum!
- joeykaufmann, on 07/21/2008, -2/+3No matter what you say about the guy, he loves his players and he loves the game. With the exception of the last few years, Paterno has consistently molded high school kids into outstanding men.
- Joepa2k6, on 07/21/2008, -1/+4Joe Paterno is my hero.
- Alex2, on 07/21/2008, -3/+1Eat your Flutie Flakes!

- jsnjrmh1, on 07/21/2008, -0/+1There needs to be more coaches like JoePa who really know what college athletics are all about. Student athletes are just that, students first and athletes second and Joe has know that from the beginning. Don't bring what he has done for the school and college football down just because there has been a couple bad eggs at PSU the past couple of years.
