- michael43, on 07/17/2008, -3/+4Our local Kroger doesn't have any seeded melons. They should call the seedless ones diggers, cuz they can't reproduce
- alapoet, on 07/17/2008, -2/+7Oh, Diggers have plenty of seeds, it's just that most of them don't have anywhere to spurt them.
- mavicyp, on 07/17/2008, -1/+8i think from now on all seedless fruit should be called eunuchs. It's just a better word.
- vsujohn2, on 07/17/2008, -3/+7I bought a pouch of seedless watermelon seeds at the store recently, I open the pouch and its ***** empty. What gives??

- bowserkid, on 07/17/2008, -1/+4WHY?
No really, why? Spitting watermelon seeds has got to be one of the funner things about summer and these new watermelons just taste horrible.- sabrette, on 07/17/2008, -0/+2i agree, these seedless fiascos have a strange after taste...................where can you find a seeded watermelon now ?
- MurMurs, on 07/17/2008, -0/+3You really can't. It's a shame that taste is being sacrificed for convenience.
- Setari, on 07/17/2008, -0/+2Surprisingly, all of the grocery stores in my area sell regular watermelon. I'd say it's actually harder to find seedless than seeded.
- charm803, on 07/17/2008, -0/+2You can actually grow them in your back yard. I don't know what the weather is like where you live, but the seeds are not expensive and you get a bunch.
If you don't have a nursery near you, you can get them online for one a couple of bucks.......beats paying by the pound!

- tufftugg, on 07/17/2008, -0/+1 Seedless are gross...and it's hard to get the sweet tasting ones with seeds.
