- tm13lke, on 11/18/2008, -3/+117its never too late to eat bacon
- doiveo, on 11/18/2008, -5/+114Smear a little maple syrup on your bacon then actual bake it. Tastes fantastic.
- cougar3429, on 11/18/2008, -3/+99Seriously 1 to 2 pieces per person??
Try 1 package....I mean, it's freaking bacon. - Surferess, on 11/18/2008, -6/+87My Mom used to make this at her Bed and Breakfast. It is awesome and really easy.
Allow 1 to 2 pieces of thick-cut bacon per person.
2 pieces thick-cut bacon per person brows sugar to coat
• Roll in brown sugar.
• Place on greased broiler pan.
• Bake at 300° F for 30 to 40 minutes, until crisp and
brown to taste. - colonelbuckshot, on 11/18/2008, -11/+90Only Americans could come up with this
- cougar3429, on 11/18/2008, -2/+72Not the kind you're talking about...

- vircity, on 11/18/2008, -5/+45It would be nice if you had linked to the article which mentioned the candied bacon.
Now it looks like greasy bacon, not that there's anything wrong with that. - toonworld, on 11/18/2008, -2/+41you had a stroke while writing this, right?

- bitORlogic, on 11/18/2008, -0/+17Depends. Some countries' "bacon" is much closer to what we in America call "ham" or "Canadian bacon". Make sure you try the real, authentic, American heart-stopping bacon. Accept no substitutes.
- jackelopeus, on 11/18/2008, -4/+20You hear that Elizabeth? I'm coming to join you honey...

Two of my friends died after taking bacon off of Digg! - inactive, on 11/18/2008, -0/+11It's pretty simple: there is no other meat filled with as much deliciousness as bacon. It is the king of the meats. It's why vegetarians have to come up with faux bacon to eat (otherwise they miss it too much).
- wild, on 11/18/2008, -0/+11Actually the proper recipe is:
1 Put a cup of brown sugar in a bowl
2 Add a tablespoon of cayenne paper (sweet meets heat)
3 Coat the bacon in the mixture
4 Lay the bacon flat in a cooking pan
5 Preheat oven to 300 degrees
6 Bake for 30 minutes
I have been making this probably once a week for the last few years. (No, I am not fat and my mom is not the actual cook...) - WhiteCloud, on 11/18/2008, -1/+12Canadian bacon is nothing more than glorified ham. Does not come close to the perfection that is American bacon.
- raynar, on 11/18/2008, -1/+12that wasn't throw up...sorry, i should have told you first....
