I would ***** bricks
The entire time - marcus1060, on 09/27/2008, -0/+6You've got to trust your brakes and tires to do that.
- sephiroth965, on 09/27/2008, -2/+8Whatever. This is nothing compared to mountain unicycling.
- gtluke, on 09/27/2008, -0/+5moab is one of the coolest places on earth. i highly suggest visiting there. i didn't see anyone climb lion's back but i rode to it on my bicycle and it made me extremely uneasy just thinking about someone going up it. its a MONSTER
- CuddyBuddy, on 09/27/2008, -1/+6See if you can find a pic for the Paikakareke road on the North Island of New Zealand.

- Synchro, on 09/27/2008, -0/+3yeah, they do not import those anymore. we also do not get the Nissan Patrol. Not to mention we do not get the Nissan Navarra in diesel or the Toyota Hilux in diesel to name a few. there are more.
- angrybert, on 09/27/2008, -1/+4Loads of fun when your brakes go out on the Lions Back.

- wrestlingnrj, on 09/27/2008, -0/+2Must have never heard of a little race we have over here called the Baja 1000.
- sinembarg0, on 09/28/2008, -0/+2http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K70dFXWmVTo
- sjaxso, on 09/27/2008, -0/+2Pics? i was too busy holding on for dear life.
- Ch0chi, on 09/27/2008, -1/+3We Americans have these little things called "Jeeps and Trucks"
- sabach, on 09/27/2008, -0/+2My '77 Ford F-250 has never seen a swamp or mud pit that it didn't laugh at. Don't think it would do so great at rock climbing though, too light in the ass.
- Vodd9, on 09/27/2008, -0/+2I don't think I would do that without putting high-quality new brakes first (assuming that I would actually consider doing this trip in the first place..)
- mGARANDEUR1, on 09/28/2008, -0/+1There is nothing very extreme about what they are climbing. Being able to go up a mountain pass doesn't constitute "extreme off roading"
- Synchro, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1@slickfire - Pretty much. They are not exactly the same, but they do share a lot of parts. just way more options are available for the Navarra. Like a diesel engine.
- z987k, on 09/28/2008, -0/+1I just went over Webster and Radical hill last weekend, neither of them are scary. (very beautiful with the fall colors to) OTOH, Black Bear right outside of Telluride, I mean you come around to that drop off and you ***** yourself.
- inactive, on 09/28/2008, -0/+1A H1 maby...but all the newer ones suck ass...would take a Jeep or Toyota over a H2/3 any day.
- specialbuddy1, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1Well the parts for that vehicle are still on back order. Land rovers are junk and if you don't believe me then check edmunds.
- CNAIF, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1Pacific Northwest loggers fart in the titles general direction. Most of those roads are highways compared to what they have to deal with before the logging trucks start hauling.
- digitalpencil, on 09/27/2008, -3/+4don't sign your posts.. douche.
- wrestlingnrj, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1I've been to Moab a couple times and I'll be the first to admit I was too scared to ride shotgun in my friends Jeep going down that same pass.
- inactive, on 09/28/2008, -0/+1Obviously you're not a golfer.
- inactive, on 09/28/2008, -0/+1Whatever, man. You can off-road ANYTHING if you're gutsy enough and not afraid to get a little banged up (you and the vehicle).
- StrangeFamous, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1DRB has all kinds of good stuff, and it's all photos so it's not hard to find something interesting, odd or entertaining, yet not very many of their articles/blog posts have been submitted to Digg yet.
Out of the 5 articles I've submitted on Digg, 4 have been from DRB. Currently, the digg counts are 1, 1, 3, 3, respectively, and they've been that way for about 2 weeks.
It's because I don't use shouts. I rely on the old fashioned "good articles will float to the top" philosophy. So, maybe they're just not good articles. - Zypher77, on 09/27/2008, -5/+6i wish video games had those graphics.
- Ibox, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1Damn that'd make a hell of a bike ride...
- slickfire, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1Isn't the Navarra just a cooler Frontier.... mmmmm....6 speed manual in a pickup
- inactive, on 09/28/2008, -0/+1The owners still have the UROC event around easter and let plenty of ppl on it...There were worse crashes then the one above.
- jcanfield82, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1Moab is an incredible place to offroad. I went there 2 summers ago. Lions Back is insane. Brakes and low gears are absolutely your friends. I would love to go back some day.
- inactive, on 09/28/2008, -0/+1I have drove up/down it many times (along with the many other trails around there if your a pussy). I live in northern Utah and load my Jeep on the trailer every year for spring break. There are TONS of ppl that go do the same. It is great fun!... you don't even have to have a off-road vehicle. There is tons of other stuff also..camping, rafting, And a lot of drunk/hot women.
One year a guy with a Bronco drove off about a 1/4 from the top...had the top off...and ppl jumped out on the way down...The guy that stayed in (driver) was the only one to live...Life flight came in and had to cut him out of the car because it got wedged between some rocks at the bottom...you might have seen it be4 on one of the "believe it or not" shows on TV. - nihilism5150, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1Ugh I-95 at rush hour SUCKS! I can't put enough emphasis on SUCKS! But I must say I've nearly ***** bricks with my jeep on trails that aren't NEARLY as insane as those.
- kelmaster1, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1I would like to see a Defender do the same thing as an Jeep CJ7.
- KaJuN4, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1Dugg for gratuitous Land Rover Discovery off roading. It makes me want to hit the trails again so badly.
- inactive, on 09/28/2008, -0/+1Go there around easter...not only is there ppl going up and down it non stop...but there is always a huge amount of drunk ppl around watching. The hole town is one big party that time of year.
- windowi, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1That is the ONLY reason anyone should own a hummer
- KaJuN4, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1MANANA!!
- TheWorm, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1Fall off there and your car doesn't get reset back on the track.
- kelmaster1, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1Nooo!
It's too bad it's private land now :( - KaJuN4, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1It's a real shame we don't have more Defenders here. The first time I saw one in person was my first outing with the local Land Rover club.
- kelmaster1, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1why? Are there illegals running across the freeway?
- EatSleepJeep, on 09/27/2008, -2/+3Jeep Wrangler > Land Rover anything.
My Trails:
Rubicon
Johnson Valley
Moab
many many more - paradox4190, on 09/27/2008, -1/+1dugg for harold and kumar reference
- Quasic, on 09/27/2008, -5/+6Off-road are so good at this, they thrive on this stuff.
Why do people neuter them by keeping them on tarmac? - Dylson, on 09/27/2008, -2/+2Yeah.
- inactive, on 09/27/2008, -1/+1This hill serves no purpose. It's like riding a lone escalator to nowhere. What is the point?
- RubiconSahara, on 09/27/2008, -0/+0Looks like a lot of fun.
- crossmr, on 09/27/2008, -2/+2Boring. After a minute of that I was like left off the goddamn brake...
