- Lunarparcel, on 06/25/2009, -0/+272Not as awesome as it would be to live on top of the mountain overlooking it.....in a castle.
- inactive, on 06/25/2009, -3/+223How sick would it be to live down in that village?
- inactive, on 06/24/2009, -3/+184Über-dugg!
- steelersfan7roe, on 06/25/2009, -16/+130Dugg for 'über'.
- silverchrysalis, on 06/25/2009, -0/+97i wonder how short their days are, being in that massive shadow.
- TBickle77, on 06/25/2009, -1/+98Sweet!!! I have actually been there... the town is so close to the mountains it is hard to appreciate how beautiful it actually is. Switzerland is such a beautiful country!!!
- fas2, on 06/25/2009, -3/+93Switzerland is beautiful, definitely worth checking out!
- YorickBrown, on 06/25/2009, -0/+79I'd love to live somewhere like that, specifically right there.
- Hraes, on 06/25/2009, -0/+67I have a panoramic video from down in the town. It's absolutely amazing. Uploading... will provide link when it finishes.

Hope this link works soon... - buakaw, on 06/25/2009, -1/+62Ricola
- JekJob, on 06/25/2009, -0/+55That's amazing. I always underestimate the size of mountains; I never think they're that big until I see some object (like a building) to which I can compare it.
Here's another view: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/4a/Grin ... - professorplum, on 06/25/2009, -2/+50If I lived in that village below, I would sit in my yard and play D&D all day
- Polycarp87, on 06/25/2009, -5/+481600x1200 not good enough for you?

I would like to formally apologize, on behalf of Digg, for the ***** replies to your comment. - Bullislander05, on 06/25/2009, -11/+52If only the picture was a higher resolution. Then it'd be desktop background-worthy.
- EndersGame, on 06/25/2009, -2/+34Unfortunately its not wide enough for my monitor either. (1920x1080)

- IamZed, on 06/25/2009, -0/+19I went to a meeting there once, in a room that was all windows on one side. I didn't hear a single thing said. I was dumbfounded.
- inactive, on 06/25/2009, -1/+20Sick as hell! Duuuuude!
- inactive, on 06/25/2009, -1/+19Mountains Gandalf!
- lfroker, on 06/25/2009, -1/+16With a dragon

http://komin2.world.coocan.jp/indexeg.htm - phqu88, on 06/25/2009, -0/+15I will build a castle where that exact picture was take in that exact spot. I will hire a Frenchmen to greet all visitors who come to take my grail. He will launch cows, chickens and ducks at them if they get to close. He will fart in your general direction!
- EthylAdded, on 06/25/2009, -0/+15http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grindelwald
- ilikeeggs8877, on 06/25/2009, -1/+15i bet their tubes are kinda small...so, maybe not that sick
- diggduggjoe, on 06/25/2009, -1/+15You mean they do not let anyone cross the border, demand public services and eventual amnesty?
- Ruger11mcrdpi, on 06/25/2009, -0/+14Awesome! I went there when I was a kid! There's a mountain real close to here near Murren that has a rotating restaurant on top of it, they filmed part of a James Bond movie there.
- skipvt, on 06/25/2009, -1/+15Holy cow, you went around so fast I got dizzy.
- swiftekho, on 06/25/2009, -0/+13Ya the sun coming up over the mountain would take forever. I'd get to sleep in longer.
- nintendoagekid, on 06/25/2009, -3/+16It looks fine on my 1152x864 Mitsubishi Super Bright Diamondtron!
- Polycarp87, on 06/25/2009, -1/+12That mountain is so big it makes the town look like a toy set.
- EndersGame, on 06/25/2009, -0/+11I do not care about citizenship so much but I am curious how much it costs to live there versus here in the U.S. For example I have about $100,000 laying around (settlement) and I wonder if that could get me by there for a few years until I could get through some of there schooling and get a nice job or what. Or am I dreaming and they wouldn't even let me into their schools because I wasn't born there?
Basically I want to live in Switzerland for the rest of my life and I am curious as to whats the best way to go about it. - tinkafoo, on 06/25/2009, -1/+11But everybody knows Texas is only 6,000 years old..
- Rain12913, on 06/25/2009, -0/+9Explanation marks?
- leif77, on 06/25/2009, -1/+10Just because we already know something is big doesn't mean a frame of reference makes it that much more astounding... Stop being such a child and let people enjoy the finer things in life... If it's not your cup of tea then go grab a Monster and hang out with all of your friends and have masturbatory conversations about how you guys know everything...
- UEichen, on 06/25/2009, -0/+9Genau!
- Radioactivate, on 06/25/2009, -0/+9Fixed
http://www.4ogdens.org/uber.gif - or3n, on 06/25/2009, -2/+10is "uber" the new "BREAKING"?
- DirtPile, on 06/25/2009, -3/+11Because it's there, Spock.
- confoundedjoe, on 06/25/2009, -1/+9maybe if it was in widescreen 16x10(or 9). How many people have 1600x1200 screens anymore?
- kubedawg, on 06/25/2009, -7/+14I will build my own castle one day. JUST YOU WAIT!
- Amusing, on 06/25/2009, -0/+7And its still too classy to be Galveston in any year....
