UN now says globe has cooled since 1998
foxnews.com — Gobal Cooling? Can hysteric global alarmists get the facts right or is all emotion?
- 50 diggs
- digg it
- malingo73, on 04/04/2008, -3/+11so should we still believe the IPCC or their detractors that have been saying this for years? Maybe someone should tell Algore the world isn't flat! I say we start drilling for oil ourselves and let these idiots battle it out.
- ftx437, on 04/04/2008, -2/+4hahahaha!
- RepubOperative, on 04/04/2008, -0/+5Interview of John Coleman owner of the Weather Channel on Global Warming.
http://thenewamerican.com/node/7524 - grumpyrain, on 04/04/2008, -2/+3or maybe we should get our science information from fox news?
- ftx437, on 04/04/2008, -3/+11Watch this story not be dugg at all..
- SpaceMonkeyZero, on 04/04/2008, -0/+8It already has 3 things going against it:
Foxnews
anti-Global Warming
and there's another thread with more diggs already :)

- TheBrinyDeep, on 04/04/2008, -2/+1Just another take on the whole "Global Whatevering" thing.
- xekko, on 04/04/2008, -13/+6It called La Nina, this year won't have peak temperatures because it has a general cooling effect, but the overall trend over the last 100 years is increase in warming due to man-made CO2 emissions.
But I expect to be dugg down by the mass of right-wing nut jobs here on Digg.- dan222555, on 04/04/2008, -4/+14"but the overall trend over the last 100 years is increase in warming due to man-made CO2 emissions."
And you neglect that the overall trend in the last 100,000 years is prolonged periods of both cooling and warming. - RepubOperative, on 04/04/2008, -3/+12"But I expect to be dugg down by the mass of right-wing nut jobs here on Digg." On Digg? "the mass of right-wing nut jobs" you are out of your liberal mind. Digg is at least 85% liberal Democrats with a healthy mixture of 5% Marxists thrown in with the remainder being conservative Republicans.
- jerger23, on 04/04/2008, -1/+8Delete all after 'down' in your last sentence and at least you said something accurate.
- InfidelAl, on 04/04/2008, -1/+7How convenient. Your willing to acknowledge La Nina when temps are expected to drop, but are you also willing to acknowledge the El Nino cycle that was occurring during 1998... you know the "hottest year on record"? And yes, the globe has been warming... ever since we left the last ice age.
- dan222555, on 04/04/2008, -4/+14"but the overall trend over the last 100 years is increase in warming due to man-made CO2 emissions."
- bigot, on 04/04/2008, -3/+13Well the warming sluts don't care if the temp is up or down they still want to bankrupt America with their laughable science. All we need is to buy more carbon credits and CO2 will go down. Its amazing the depths ignorance we have sunken to.
- SeventhSon, on 04/05/2008, -0/+3I dislike the entire carbon credits idea, but mainly because I didn't think of it. Maybe I can sell other pretend things for real money. I'm leaning towards Niceness Offsets. You can be a jackass if you pay me to pay someone else to be nice. That makes everything okay.
- decet, on 04/05/2008, -1/+2OK, so it's laughable science if it doesn't support your opinion, but it's serious science if it does. I get your point.
- DocAntiprop, on 04/04/2008, -1/+12Let me get this straight. Variability can occur on the micro time scale of years but SUV exhaust will overpower umpteen meteorological forces, most like water vapor, not accounted for in their models, and erase any of Mother Nature's & Mr. Sun's downward variability on the scale of centuries. What a mass delusion of self-importance these people have propagated! Their increasing loudness is, I hope, a sign of their desperation at the tide of reasoned scientific rebuttals of their nuttiness.
- f15ric, on 04/04/2008, -1/+2Sounds like the earth is healing itself to me. Imagine that.
- sean74, on 04/04/2008, -6/+0So what are you trying to say? Pollution is A-OK? The glaciers are going to gather water back up and freeze?
- InfidelAl, on 04/06/2008, -0/+2Who is talking about pollution? CO2 is a necessary element. Plant life requires it. We exhale it. Cleaning up pollution is a great idea, but this ain't pollution. Glaciers have been melting since the last ice age and will "gather water back up" when the next one comes.
- ohpiddle, on 04/05/2008, -1/+2Now Gore and his scientist can write a new book.....How to influence millions while making millions. I bet he will still say that there is global warming we are just in a dip.
