- velocity92c, on 10/07/2008, -1/+35What are they smoking in France? A lot less carbon emissions apparently.
- inactive, on 10/07/2008, -1/+19It won't catch on in the US.
1. It's got 3 wheels
2. It's not a car or suv
3. It's from France - Necoras, on 10/07/2008, -0/+9The first two are hurdles... the third is a mountain.
- MCA2142, on 10/07/2008, -2/+10I see a smug cloud forming.
- psud0, on 10/07/2008, -3/+11Very cool one. I would love to get such one for my next birthday ;)
- Kidsturk, on 10/07/2008, -1/+9118 mpg?
That's outstanding.
More of this please. The world would be a better place if everyone stopped driving tanks. - nesagwa, on 10/07/2008, -0/+7Its a SCOOTER. Not a motorcycle.
Stop comparing the two. - rolf, on 10/07/2008, -2/+9That's really nice looking, but what is the top speed considering it has 20 horse power? Can it do highway speeds or not?
Right now, a Honda Rebel motorcycle which can do 80mph can still get 60mpg (people say driving conservatively get 70-80mpg) and only costs ~$3000 msrp.
Will this be comparable? I'd pay a little more because it's probably better in several areas but not if it can't do highway. - inactive, on 10/07/2008, -3/+9damn that is nice - how much?
- handmadewallaby, on 10/07/2008, -6/+12It's already caught on with me. Here's why...
1. It's got 3 wheels
2. It's not a car or suv
3. It's from France - BlakkSheep, on 10/07/2008, -1/+7Testing it in Spore....
- KSUdesigner, on 10/07/2008, -0/+6You won't think it's so lame when it starts raining.
- inactive, on 10/07/2008, -0/+5That is so awesome. However, it would sell much better if it was a convertible.
- peestandingup, on 10/07/2008, -2/+7Three wheels, huh? Sorta like this:
http://www.piaggiousa.com/pScooters/MP3.cfm#nowher ... - LogicBomB, on 10/07/2008, -0/+5I'd drive one.
- gametavern, on 10/07/2008, -0/+5LOL at the chick on the back. (and that they're in suits on that thing)
- rolf, on 10/07/2008, -0/+5According to wikipedia, a Zundapp Bella from the 1960s was a popular Scooter and could do 60mph "all day" and a 1962 Triumph Tigress had 70mph max speed:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scooter_%28motorcycle ...
With the advances in engine technology since then, I don't see why a scooter couldn't do, say 85 or 90 max, just for some extra power up hills and just handle the normal highway at 70... - mgbuddy, on 10/07/2008, -0/+4The non-hybrid piaggio 3 wheel version can be seen pretty easy in Barcelona. Looks weird, but seems to gain supporters here.
- MisterRik, on 10/07/2008, -1/+5You did read the article, right?
- Necoras, on 10/07/2008, -0/+4Similar ideas have gone to market. See the link above your post. Remember, Europe's a different market.
- Tyrghast, on 10/07/2008, -1/+5A new member for the Hell's Vespas.
- Necoras, on 10/07/2008, -0/+4Roof improves wind profile. It gives you better mileage. Of course, doors do too...

Lloyd: "Just go man. Oh... that's really warm." - TomKarpik, on 10/07/2008, -0/+4I drive a 50cc Aprilia SR50 scooter, and with all stock components it does about 83 km/hr on a flat. With a performance exhaust, tweaked CVT, etc. etc. people have managed about 95 km/hr. Some also get a 70cc piston kit for the engines in these.
- mrdeathgod, on 10/07/2008, -3/+7WANT
- zeebo, on 10/07/2008, -0/+3Not much you can do about that in any vehicle really. I've seen plenty of crushed SUVs on roadsides driven by people who thought they were invincible.
- mk3k, on 10/07/2008, -2/+5You'd definitely crushed.
- liquify1, on 10/07/2008, -0/+3i really doubt that would keep you dry.. its like driving a car in the rain with the windows down
- dha07030, on 10/07/2008, -1/+4Second pic is a little gay.
- petomni, on 10/07/2008, -0/+3It's actually not hideous. I think thats the most amazing part.
- inactive, on 10/07/2008, -0/+3Pull up in it and say "Hey look how rich I am, I can afford this bleeding edge technology. As an alpha male, I know you are compelled by your hormonal lust and are attracted to expensive materialistic purchases therefore you are my bride and must come with me."
- bmcconno, on 10/07/2008, -0/+3Check out the Carver

- lockr, on 10/07/2008, -4/+7I think it looks interesting; I like it.
- oldhick, on 10/07/2008, -0/+2That's great for you. But it's not possible for most of us.
- inactive, on 10/07/2008, -0/+2I'll just make it clear that I:
1. Love innovation and creativity
2. Like things that are different
3. Like French things .. even the women (that shave) - hollywoodphony, on 10/07/2008, -0/+2I saw something like this on the streets of Narragansett, Rhode Island, of all places. I guess it wasn't the same model and it may have been a kit, but it was the same type of 3 wheeled scooter (1 in back, 2 in front) with a half-open cage around it. It was really cool. I wish I had asked the guy driving it more about it.
- mysn239, on 10/07/2008, -0/+2The logo looks like the Express logo
- GhostM, on 10/07/2008, -1/+3Their sh*t is alot stronger then yours
- pepote, on 10/07/2008, -0/+2Dugg for three "unprecedented" in three phrases. World record.
Who writes these things? - lukegravitt, on 10/07/2008, -0/+2Also, sorta like this:
http://www.mrtoys.com/hot-wheels_bicycles/pics/Hot ... - johnomaz, on 10/07/2008, -2/+4I would totally use one of those, if it wasn't for all the 100lb soccer moms that think they need a Ford Excursion for their two toddlers.
- inactive, on 10/07/2008, -0/+2You don't crash. Just like a motorcycle, the only thing that will save you is your agility and reflexes.
- tehWhisp, on 10/07/2008, -1/+3France was never an ***** to us. If "*****" means staying out of a war it didn't have any motivation to be in, then you sir, are an idiot.
If anything, we were the *****. - DangerCollie, on 10/07/2008, -0/+2Reminds me a little of the Spyder. Nice bike, very stable but the Spyder only gets 30 mpg. Worse than my sensible 4 door sedan. Who is going to brave the elements for that kind of mileage? If the CanAM got 60 mpg, I'd be right there. But in actual road tests, it averaged 28. Forget that.
- Musicmonkey34, on 10/07/2008, -1/+3sooo...when you crash....how would you NOT break your neck on the windshield/roof?
- KingGorilla, on 10/07/2008, -0/+2I'm just gonna give my scooter some speed holes
- Atsumori, on 10/07/2008, -0/+2I'd rather have a Tata Nano
http://tatanano.inservices.tatamotors.com/tatamoto ... - mountainweb, on 10/07/2008, -0/+2This is what the US needs! Makes you wonder why they are not sold in the US.
- zolaar, on 10/07/2008, -0/+2Similar to a design from an inventor in Colorado: http://www.geocities.com/matrionix/it.JPG
