The City of Houston Gains A Major BioDiesel Hub
chron.com — Green Earth Fuels opened a second 45-million-gallon-per-year plant at the Houston Ship Channel, making it one of the biggest hubs in the nation for production of diesel fuel derived from vegetable oil. Apart from making and selling biodiesel, the firm will process biodiesel byproducts like glycerin into renewable plastics and other products.
