- ironeus, on 08/01/2008, -1/+21Just having both sides admit it's a top priority issue is monumental progress.
- redcolumbine, on 07/01/2008, -4/+17Clean coal - too bad George Carlin isn't around to add this to his list of guest host, jumbo shrimp, and military intelligence.
- vcoach, on 07/01/2008, -1/+10We need to do all those things! Too bad they waited this long!
- SitPoMk, on 07/01/2008, -6/+10Obama has a plan.
McCain has a plan too. Oop wait, hes got another one. Nope, waait there goes another one. - Carl306, on 07/02/2008, -1/+5It's all fine and dandy to say you will participate in and heavily invest in these types of projects, but lets see if either one of them actually follows through. I'm hoping whoever is elected actually enacts changes like these, and more.
- inactive, on 07/02/2008, -1/+4I definitely think that climate change will be the issue of the New Millennium and determine whether or not our planet survives.
- minoss, on 07/02/2008, -1/+4Because being in the "green" industry is very profitable.
- inactive, on 07/02/2008, -1/+4Agreed.
- inactive, on 07/02/2008, -0/+3Amen.
- minoss, on 07/02/2008, -0/+2Yea, because saying foreigners and their oil are evil, vote for me, is such dangerous political move. I can't fathom the votes he's lost from taking that stance. That stance is precisely why have the failure that is the ethanol industry.
When are people going to figure out, the market is perfectly capable of adjusting to various energy needs without the government coming in and subsidizing what it think may be a good option. I bet we get to have ethanol mandates around for at least another 5 years simply because of political inertia. How long do you think it would take the market to get rid of ethanol? - kevinwiz, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1because there are 6.6 billion people on this planet this time
- mohaltron, on 07/02/2008, -4/+5I think Obama is better, he's trying to save the earth, and we should participate with him to fix our current situation.
- kjuto, on 07/03/2008, -0/+1I hope beyond all the rhetoric they know the most effective way to fight global warming is a carbon tax.
- funk13, on 07/03/2008, -0/+1Though it is very good that both candidates are addressing this serious issue, i do not think that either go far enough. But i guess a step in the right direction is better than nothing. Let's just hope nature doesn't kill us before we find out if it's too late.
- angrynorwegian, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Lets fight nature. Good idea.
- fromaworld, on 07/02/2008, -5/+4Scientists know that the earth has gone through massive climate change before humans were even around, so why is this climate change need to be fought?
- Adrianna18, on 07/03/2008, -1/+0As my friend in college always said, if there was no global warming, we are actually due for an ice age =P
- MonsterChaOS, on 07/02/2008, -4/+2Then vote Obama!
