- benroy, on 07/26/2008, -14/+52Why does everything have to be "green" now? It's just a fad.
If this was 1998 it would be swing-dancing lolcats. If it was 1973 it would be polyester and gold chain lolcats.
Not only were most of these pretty lame, but only a couple have anything to do with being "green". - inactive, on 07/26/2008, -4/+39That was stupid.
- jayrok, on 07/26/2008, -4/+39Great.. my IQ just dropped another 10 points.
- TEHxINTERWEBS, on 07/26/2008, -3/+32Not as funny as the "regular" LOLCats...
- DiscoLando, on 07/26/2008, -2/+30Wow... someone is trying *way* too hard.
- mercenarybw, on 07/26/2008, -0/+23Some of these were rather forced; trying to squeeze out a message when it's really just a silly picture of a cat.
- nbabasketball, on 07/25/2008, -3/+21I had a bird fly into my window a few weeks ago and it left a mark just like that 6th picture.
- Sham1969, on 07/26/2008, -1/+17Not that funny
- Surferess, on 07/25/2008, -8/+25Loved the last little kitty, especially.
- JamesBondQ, on 07/26/2008, -0/+12A lot of the explanations for each picture feel pretty forced. Not to mention that whoever did this must have spent less than 2 minutes finding these pictures, as it seems like this one would have been a shoe in.
http://icanhascheezburger.com/2007/11/20/i-has-a-i ... - frigginchris, on 07/26/2008, -4/+15in order for it to be a LOLcat doesn't it actually have to be a cat?
- Accolade1, on 07/26/2008, -2/+12Fad? No. Marketing? Definitely.
- WCL23, on 07/26/2008, -4/+14Accidental dupe comment. Bury please.
- Seaseme, on 07/26/2008, -3/+13lol.
List + lolcats + global warming scare = guaranteed front page on digg. - inactive, on 07/26/2008, -1/+10That was incredibly stupid.
- Dundasbro, on 07/26/2008, -0/+9Wow those were terrible.
- Hoogs, on 07/26/2008, -4/+12If I hear the word "green" one more time I may just lose it.
- Ranvier, on 07/26/2008, -1/+8Your 12 what?
- lexbi, on 07/26/2008, -2/+9I've seen better.
- artofficial, on 07/26/2008, -3/+9fighting global warming one green lol cat at a time.
ridiculous. - Nintendesert, on 07/26/2008, -0/+6Damn. The basketball look-a-likes that was total ass and now this? Really ***** lame.
- inactive, on 07/26/2008, -0/+5There is no hard scientific proof that LOLCats are real.
- btschul, on 07/26/2008, -5/+9"Using Humor to Spread the Word on Global Warming and More"
"lolcats" are supposed to be funny? - obsolite, on 07/26/2008, -2/+7Ron Paul LOLcats
Ubuntu LOLcats
Obama LOLcats - inactive, on 07/26/2008, -3/+8Buried for forcing the meme.
- Sharky35, on 07/26/2008, -0/+5So this is helping the environment how?
- keithburgun, on 07/26/2008, -0/+5Come on...
- BuckNutty, on 07/26/2008, -0/+4And he's calm, too... or in shock. Pretty good for a kitty in the water.
- krnldmp, on 07/26/2008, -0/+4The reason we even have environmental "issues" is most people don't understand one part of the whole damned thing. I don't see how this helps at all.
- ThisisCarl, on 07/26/2008, -0/+4Half these pictures weren't made with going green in mind, and I'm sure of that
- tacojohn48, on 07/26/2008, -0/+3You sir are a bad person for having this wall of death.
- inactive, on 07/26/2008, -2/+5Fad? Yes. Marketing? Yes.
It's both, because there's no denying that this is a fad. - socialpyramid, on 07/25/2008, -0/+3He's such a trooper!
- stevenbrown, on 07/26/2008, -2/+5You people have ***** issues. Take a look at yourself. I have ***** had it with lolcats's influence on the ***** internet. You really think making fun of fads is a ***** joke? do you? BURN IN HELL, *****. Don't tell me where the ***** line is, because if you don't know, you have probably corssed it many times in the past, and will again in the future.
Bringing up memories of fads to a comment thread based on a story about lolcats? ***** low. I wish reporting inappropriate content actually did something these days, but in the actuality, it won't change much. The same ***** will always come back, poking at jokes, and relying on the other sick ***** to digg them up.
That's it digg, I'm starting to give up. It is going to take some ***** dynamite samaritans to drag this ***** back up to the good site it used to be. For all you ***** digging these guys up, I seriously question your humanity. This is not the time of the place to make jokes about this kind of material, and you know that. You ***** know it. - KingGorilla, on 07/26/2008, -0/+3Don't tell me what to do
- inactive, on 07/26/2008, -0/+3Better than hearing "carbon" when they mean "carbon dioxide". That's like calling H2O "hydrogen".
- lblitzer, on 07/26/2008, -0/+3People actually think these are funny? I had "friends" over the other night and this is all they looked at.
- BTConan, on 07/26/2008, -0/+3It's like magic!
- V1ncent, on 07/26/2008, -0/+3At college there was an enclosed bridge that connected two buildings with glass sides. Pasted on each side was cardboard silhouettes of hawks and eagles. I asked one of the staff there what that was all about and they told me that this way the birds see an image of a predator and don't hit the glass and die.
You should have seen her face when I instantly replied "What happens if you put a silhouette of a bird-feeder up?"
Priceless. - shufan, on 07/26/2008, -0/+3That wasn't even a little funny.
- KingGorilla, on 07/26/2008, -0/+2And in some of those pictures it wasn't even a cat
- RobotKeaton, on 07/26/2008, -0/+2"The slaughter can be reduced by better positioning of buildings and panes, and avoiding glass walls of death."
Or birds can stop being so stupid. - Draculecom, on 07/26/2008, -0/+2Buried for GIMME A ***** BREAK!
- capellathestar, on 07/28/2008, -0/+2If by "funniest" you mean " absolutely ***** lame" - yes, they are the funniest ones I've seen.
The daily green: DIAF. - alexanderhazard, on 07/26/2008, -0/+2lets go break some windows, those bird killing bastards
- freakydingo, on 07/26/2008, -0/+2digg me down.
- sabster, on 07/26/2008, -2/+4because we only used a fraction of the energy we used in 1973 that we use today..
on another note, how is that cat not having a panic attack in the water - bagboyrebel, on 07/26/2008, -0/+27 funniest LOLCats? Isn't that like the 7 best tasting piles of *****?
