Inuit to launch human rights case against the Bush Administration (2003)

The Inuit people of Canada and Alaska are launching a human rights case against the Bush administration claiming they face extinction because of global warming. By repudiating the Kyoto protocol and refusing to cut US carbon dioxide emissions, (25% of the world's total).

  • inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The Kyoto protocol was a joke. It was unfair to the USA, and it would've allowed developing countries to pollute to their hearts desire.

    Global warming is cyclical. The Romans enjoyed an Earth that was warmer than what we live in, and prospered. Global cooling brought on the Dark Ages. The Inuit have adapted in the past, they can adapt now. Screw them and their baseless lawsuit.
