- Humptydank, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11Why is the cow dung part so bad? Real vanilla flavoring is incredibly expensive, cow dung is incredibly plentiful, and we already squeeze red food dye from bugs. Pure vanillin is pure vanillin no matter where it comes from, as long as it's pure.

- Fission, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4I went to the ceremony on Thursday and the lectures on Saturday at MIT and it was awesome as always. Only 7 out of the 10 winners could make it but it was much better than I had expected.
The Japanese woman that this article about couldn't speak English well and was using an interpreter to answer questions. Someone asked her if they thought that this could be used in foods and she replied "Would you like to eat vanilla extracted from dung?" Everyone laughed.
Some other good ones were: Why do you bed sheets wrinkle, do sword swallowers damage their body, and The never ending soup bowl which they had a soup bowl that kept refilling without people knowing. On average, people ate around 78% more before stopping and getting full.
