Fairhaven man is Earth Day's Mr. Fix-it
southcoasttoday.com — On Earth Day in 1999, Mac Matheson was inspired to put on his wet suit, break out his canoe and wade up the Nasketucket River to the Mill Pond in Fairhaven, cleaning out seven rusty, old bicycles, broken television sets and other submerged trash.He has been cleaning out the waters each year since.
