- OverThere, on 10/10/2007, -1/+409No chance I'd be there. I've watched too many loony tunes where that exact same rock breaks.
- vertinox, on 10/10/2007, -3/+205That would give me the willies. I'd have to crawl to get out that far.
- smackywentz, on 10/10/2007, -7/+151I find that when I'm on a high place such as the one in the picture, I really want to jump. Does anyone else get that feeling? Ever since I was little, I've always had the insane urge to jump.
- harvinator24, on 10/10/2007, -7/+131Ah google adds how i love you

a promo spot for a show, thats so depressing. - ukdave, on 10/10/2007, -6/+120Looney tune, just looking at that picture made my hands break out in sweat and my fingers start tingle.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+89Yeah, but the part he's sitting is the part that would stay in the air
- schlurp, on 10/10/2007, -5/+92I've stood there myself. It's a over a lake in the norvegian mountains. Very nice and a pretty short hike too. I think it was 400 or 600m straight down from the ledge.
- irkenzim, on 10/10/2007, -7/+82That's a really cool picture! The view from there must be amazing.
- NeoCortex, on 10/10/2007, -3/+74Just don't look down and you're fine. Gravity is subjective.
- Dimalinch, on 10/10/2007, -2/+68I get that same feeling, although I don't really think that it's that I want to jump. It's my being fully aware that I am capable of jumping at any moment. The question for me is do I trust my mind enough to know that I will not jump, or will some sort of basic subconscious impulse drive me to do it. So far, no, but I still get that feeling!
- arunforce, on 10/10/2007, -1/+63You have about 4 seconds to run back to the cliff, so you have nothing to worry. =o
- jcaino, on 10/10/2007, -7/+66that's because you can fly - just try it!
- vornan19, on 10/10/2007, -5/+63If that guy was Wild E. Coyote the end would have snapped off, plunging him not to his death but a hilarious landing.
- palehorse864, on 10/10/2007, -19/+69This is worse!

you know... like... "wily" coyote - skyfire1, on 10/10/2007, -4/+46I want to meet you in real life just to see if people that weird exist.
- CrazyNorman, on 10/10/2007, -1/+43I get the same feeling driving sometimes. It's not that I'm feeling suicidal, it's that I know, that I could just jerk the wheel, and you know the rest. It's all about trusting your brain.
- actorboy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+42Lay off the raisin bran.
- wassim2k, on 10/10/2007, -8/+39The tip of that rock could break any time. Always happens to wylie coyote.
- tropicflite, on 10/10/2007, -1/+30If you hop off the rock at the moment of impact you'll be fine.
- DatDudeWiggs, on 10/10/2007, -4/+32I found myself breathing a little harder just looking at that!
- RTFishUL, on 10/10/2007, -3/+31Looks like a really relaxing spot to sit
- skyfire1, on 10/10/2007, -5/+32Natural selection in the works.
- Jordan117, on 10/10/2007, -3/+29It's the ciiircle of liiife... and it moooves us aaall...
- Unr3a1, on 10/10/2007, -1/+26kinda similar
http://www.snopes.com/photos/natural/canyonleap.asp - Stratochief66, on 10/10/2007, -1/+26Good way of describing the feeling.
- Raziel66, on 10/10/2007, -2/+26It's called Prekestolen. Lived in Stavanger for 3 years, and never got to go there myself. :(
- Everglow, on 11/10/2007, -0/+24@appletalk: You are such an asshat :/
- Rikushix, on 10/10/2007, -8/+29Too laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....
- OutThisLife, on 10/10/2007, -15/+36What are these "ads" you speak of, sir?
- Mononuclear, on 10/10/2007, -4/+23yes.. it's called base jumping and it's quite fun
- mtrip, on 10/10/2007, -1/+18Until he fell, then lamely held a tiny umbrella up as the shadow of the now falling rock got larger and larger...
- supermanred, on 10/10/2007, -8/+23Yeah but it must smell bad from all the people pooping their pants when they look down.
- grumpyrain, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15You would have to kill me first to get me out that far.
- schlurp, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14no it's not prekestolen, that one is over the lysefjord and a large tourist attraction, this one is much quieter - not sure why, I liked it better.
Prekestolen has a large flat platfrom over a 1000m drop (so twice as high as this) but it doesn't jut out like this one. Also Prekestolen was filled with tourists when I was there. On this one we met only one guy hiking around. - grumpyrain, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13whoosh.
I think that was the sound of a joke flying over someone's head. - polyphonic, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14you sick *****
- AceLy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13Just don't fall asleep.
- Torx, on 10/10/2007, -8/+21Imagine wackin it at the end of that ledge. talk about ultimate orgasm.
- karebu, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12wait till you hear a crack.
- MrHappy123, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11it is not the Prekestolen ... this is the Prekestolen http://www.stavanger-web.com/images/gallery/alone_on_preikestolen.jpg
Compare it! - ccjensen, on 10/10/2007, -2/+13it's above Lysefjorden in Forsand, Norway
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preikestolen - Kanaka, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12Is it me or does that look like Pride Rock from the Lion King Movie
- Disjunto, on 10/10/2007, -2/+12no... BASE ;)
- praisethelard, on 06/06/2008, -3/+13That can be arranged...
- joot2112, on 10/10/2007, -2/+12are you kidding? I think I would puke in that position. =:-O
- Xinareiaz, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10He was being sarcastic.
- MagicCake, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Ah, I knew lots of people felt that "pull" near a cliff, but I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets the feeling while driving. I'm not suicidal either, but sometimes I just want to turn into the other lane. It scares me a little.
- grumpyrain, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9He is safe though.
Normally that is where Roadrunner stands, and the tip remains suspended while the rest of the mountain collapses. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Yes we all learn from the mistakes of Wil E .Coyote.
