- thestrongrope, on 05/22/2008, -0/+2That is absolutely amazing! I love the fact that you could create a portable (albeit tiny) energy source, awesome! I would also love to see it incorporated into the structure of a building. You could put these around a building making it apart of the structure and you could have the house or whatever hard wired to these power sources for lighting and any other small needs. You could than have a "lid" or something on the outside that you just open up periodically and replenish the fuel cell with the plant and animal waste. Now I am not a technical person at all, so if anyone has a better grasp of this technology, a better idea or the limitations, I would love to hear them.

- sjbdallas, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1So first we burn the oil under the soil, then we burn the food grown in the soil, now we'll just go ahead and burn the soil. Seems to me that at some point, we'll run out of stuff to burn or we'll run out of a place to burn it.
