Basically, warming could lead to the shutdown of this system resulting in regional cooling. It's believed this process shuts down naturally over a long period of time while the planet heats up over a long period time (generally caused by natural events) in order to help counteract any sort of "global warming" event. - idontlikeyou2, on 01/18/2009, -2/+5It probably doesn't hurt to try and at least read something once in a while. - Whackly, on 01/18/2009, -2/+5Minnesotans complaining about cold is like fish complaining about being wet. If you don't like it, move. I lived there. I hated everything about MN outside of the TC. OH has a lot more ignorant hillbillies and if you thought the bible thumping in central MN was bad you couldn't even imagine living less than 2 hours away from the "Creation Museum." It's all worth it, though, because I very rarely have to blow dry my balls to stop them freezing to my leg when I go outside.
