- anagoge, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14Books? More like porn DVDs please.
- blahtastic, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10But...There aren't any arms?!?! Lots of people need books closer than their lap to read them (fortunately I don't, but even as such it puts strain on your eyes after awhile) So the choices are A) Hold your arms up by themselves for hours, or B) Smush up the edges of your books on the top shelf.
Otherwise it is pretty cool looking. - chicoer2001, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7Looks useful..especially considering you cant put any sides against a wall.
- Zootex, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7Too bad it looks too uncomfortable to even last a decent reading session, id probably end up relocating to the couch =/
But on that note, it of course leaves room for improvement for the future! - btgoss, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7True. A comfy chair needs arms... hence the term comfy.... nice idea... but needs some work...
- stephdau, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Cool. I know what I'm doing this weekend: building my own. And yes, mine will have arm rests. :)
- HanSolo69, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5The only thing it's actually any good for is getting posted to Digg a couple times each week.
- tomesnyder, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4I suppose your computer reads these posts to you? ;-)
- insomniac8400, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Arm rests? Head rest? Not to mention if put in the corner of a room half the books would be unreachable.
- JoeHeavyFlow, on 10/11/2007, -3/+6That's the ugliest thing I've ever seen.
- btgoss, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4DidlioChair?
- wrtrgrl, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3great idea, but not terribly thrilled about the design.
- tetsuwan, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Haha, they don't understand how bookshelves are measured .... Just measure the length of shelf they need when put in a bookshelf. Shelf meters is a standard.
- brwright, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3wait, if this is from tree hugger, why is it made of wood, and books made of paper?
- Shriker, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Ugly... but interesting concept at least.
- kittynipples, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Um, no.
- Hawaiinstyle76, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2cool. looks heavy
- btgoss, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2This would take HOURS to assemble... especially with those Norge-Toon instructions... no way...
- AIias, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2yeah, i have no idea how that chair can be 'comfy' at all...
- newelement, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2If it's THAT OLD maybe some people don't know about it...
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3this ***** is so old...it was mentioned in diggnation ages ago.
BURIED - ladyarcher85, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3a great space-saver
- azntiger1000, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Looks uncomfortable.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1The book slots are too slim for my Harry Potter Collection :(
So I just use this chair for Good Night Moon and The Runaway Rabbit...among many others
But on the top shelf I put REALLY tall books and make a fortress for when i read really scary books.
The only thing missing is a place to put my "I'M A LOSER AND NEVER LEAVE MY BOOK WORLD" bumper sticker...
shucks - Zootex, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Until they realised how ruined their books would get from careless people and the orgasms ceased immediately.
- WhiteRaven, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1oook
(that's not a long okay, that's the sound a monk... uh.... ape makes) - HanSolo69, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1That's a pretty revolting image when you think about how old those librarians must be now since this has been around for a long, long time.
- yow1, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0That's totally wonderful.
I was expecting something fold-up (for small spaces). - vurdillac, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0Seems like you could never move it without books falling out. Bleh.
- deezeejoey, on 10/11/2007, -4/+3STUPID
Ugly, uncomfortable..
And who the hell reads anymore? - Mockylock, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0So, this is a wooden chair that holds paper books, on "treehugger.com"?
Riiiiiight.
"Donde esta la biblioteca?" -White Goodman, Dodgeball - tnatharik, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1A product of the future.
- bdurkin, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1You think reading is going through ***** comments to bad reposts about moronic websites with crappy furniture? ...I also think that was [/sarcasm] but I could be wrong.
- kablaaamo, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1I still want it, guys.....if you are tiny and always curl up on just the seat, it is awesome. Armrests are for chumps. Or bigger folk. Either way.
- chicoer2001, on 10/11/2007, -5/+3Looks useful..especially considering you cant put any sides against a wall.
