The moment I read that sentence, I felt the entire weight of just how low the record industry has fallen. Sure, I've tried to ignore it; I stopped listening to the radio, pretending I wasn't the only one. Even when all my friends told me they had done the same, I still kept faith in the music industry. Alas, even when my sister and my dad told me they had done the same, I ignored the warning signs.... we still have our Radioheads and Trent Reznors, am I right? But now.... now, I have lost all hope for humanity. That is, the soulless creatures in the record industry that these days pass for humanity.

Weather you like her or not its clear she has talent and despite the drugs, is a unique singer/songwriter. I rather have her than another generic girl/boy band or manufactured vocalist.
