- socialpyramid, on 08/30/2008, -6/+31It should be no surprise who's number 1...
- Scaryclouds, on 08/31/2008, -10/+31Bush, not accepting of mediocrity, is determined not only to be the worst overall president in U.S. history, but to be the worst president in every single category a president can be measured upon.
- inactive, on 08/31/2008, -1/+10Ah Tricky Dick...
- publiclurker, on 08/31/2008, -5/+13Who told you that. Last time I checked, Carter didn't start one illegal and immoral war and use it to totally bungle another. But then again, anyone who looks at any of your earlier post knows you just don't have the moral fiber to admit how ***** up an individual you are, so your blather is to be expected.
- socialpyramid, on 08/31/2008, -2/+10Poor Jimmy. He certainly was well intentioned at least.
- fluxion, on 08/31/2008, -1/+9dont have to like Obama to agree Bush is a bad president. even Fox News agrees the most difficult aspect of the RNC is that Bush will have to speak there. his disapproval rating is abysmal, FAR beyond partisan lines.
- 3dprototype, on 08/31/2008, -2/+8No surprise most of them were "conservatives."
- MrCobaltBlue, on 08/31/2008, -3/+9Is there anything George Bush isn't "Worst of"?
- GJBlizzard, on 08/31/2008, -13/+19This article should have been titled "We really just wanted to make another list to show you how much we hate Bush."
- malex, on 08/31/2008, -0/+5"Although a few Democrats slipped in. Don't know how that happened."
You don't? They slipped in because they had awful environmental records.
Not everything has to be partisan, you know. - rahamm, on 08/31/2008, -2/+7Didn't Carter negotiate a peace deal in the middle east which holds to this day in an area of the world where peace treaty are something people whip there asses on? Pretty sure you don't know what you are talking about.
- cheezintern, on 08/31/2008, -0/+5Well he was a champion for the needs of big oil and other corporate sponsors...
- Scaryclouds, on 08/31/2008, -0/+51.) I was more joking around than anything
2.) I don't care much for Al Gore
3.) Just because Crawford ranch is "green" doesn't excuse all the other much more far reach negative impacts GWB has had on the environment
4.) "You are Bush-derangement?" I believe it's your Bush derangement
5.) I'm libertarian not a democrat/liberal - NuclearIsShit, on 08/31/2008, -5/+9Carter was a great president, a lot of people hate him because he is brave enough to offer critique on Israel. There are a lot of Zionists out there who hate this guys guts, and we all know that if the Zionists hate you then the right wing extremists hate you too.
- kaskarn, on 08/31/2008, -1/+5Carter in despite of his bad rep was not below average. Now Bush is heavier stuff
- ryanonfire, on 08/31/2008, -4/+8So does your comment.
- ryanonfire, on 08/31/2008, -0/+4Nar that's a bit too long.
- kaskarn, on 08/31/2008, -2/+6His house may be greener, but his reign as president of the USA saw a plethora of resolutions disastrous to the environment. The world doesn't care about Bush's house, the only thing that matters is his stance on the issue, as the President.
- fluxion, on 08/31/2008, -1/+4couldve sworn the Iraqis set those fires during their retreat from Kuwait, and that we busted our asses trying to put them out.
- cheezintern, on 08/31/2008, -0/+3you know it's pretty bad when faux news has a hard time spinning it.
- NuclearIsShit, on 08/31/2008, -2/+5His comment was funny! you guys are just a bunch of ***** ***** dickchined horse *****.
- hiikeeba, on 08/31/2008, -2/+5Naw. Replace Bush with "Republicans" and you got the idea. Although a few Democrats slipped in. Don't know how that happened. They even forgot Bush Sr for setting those fires in Kuwait. You know, the ones that would burn for 40 years killing millions.
- ironpirate, on 09/01/2008, -1/+4are you serious? What a liberal piece of ***** website.... Daily green more like daily *****
- redfred18t, on 08/31/2008, -8/+11Okay I find at least two things wrong with this article. 1. They have Nixon on it although the "10 greenest presidents" also had Nixon. Well what is it? Was he green or not? The second thing is that it is ironic that they have Bush as the #1 worst environmental president considering his home is 10 times (if not more) greener than Al Gore's, probably the most vocal supporter for stopping global warming.
I dont like Bush and if this article was about the 9 Worst presidents, then yes go for it, put him on #1 but this is your regular rhetoric *****. Buried. - Meocross, on 08/31/2008, -5/+8Dugg for the Last picture FREAKING TRUTH
- yaosio, on 08/31/2008, -5/+8I love unsourced lists where everything is made up. Thanks Digg!
- inactive, on 09/01/2008, -0/+3I'm fairly sure Bush wasn't as genocidal as Jackson.
- Ursapater, on 08/31/2008, -0/+3It's not hate. That would imply that we were (like the far right) making this stuff up and he hadn't actually done it. He has
- cyphin6, on 08/31/2008, -6/+8Of course this article had Bush #1 Digg just couldn't survive with him in any other position sadly enough. Gotta love Digg Curing Cancer and Hating Bush since 2004.
- shady8x, on 09/01/2008, -0/+2Impeachment would be a proper response to some of the things Bush did... but Cheney is worse so why put him in power?

LOOK OVER THE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE FOLLOWING TWO HOUSES AND SEE IF YOU CAN TELL WHICH BELONGS TO AN ENVIRONMENTALIST.
HOUSE # 1:
A 20-room mansion (not including 8 bathrooms) heated by natural gas. Add on a pool (and a pool house) and a separate guest house all heated by gas. In ONE MONTH ALONE this mansion consumes more energy than the average American household in an ENTIRE YEAR. The average bill for electricity and natural gas runs over $2,400.00 per month. In natural gas alone (which last time we checked was a fossil fuel), this property consumes more than 20 times the national average for an American home. This house is not in a northern or Midwestern "snow belt," either. It's in the South.
HOUSE # 2:
Designed by an architecture professor at a leading national university, this house incorporates every "green" feature current home construction can provide. The house contains only 4,000 square feet (4 bedrooms) and is nestled on arid high prairie in the American southwest. A central closet in the house holds geothermal heat pumps drawing ground water through pipes sunk 300 feet into the ground. The water (usually 67 degrees F.) heats the house in winter and cools it in summer. The system uses no fossil fuels such as oil or natural gas, and it consumes 25% of the electricity required for a conventional heating/cooling system. Rainwater from the roof is collected and funneled into a 25,000 gallon underground cistern. Wastewater from showers, sinks and toilets goes into underground purifying tanks and then into the cistern. The collected water then irrigates the land surrounding the house. Flowers and shrubs native to the area blend the property into the surrounding rural landscape.
HOUSE # 1 (20 room energy guzzling mansion) is outside of Nashville, Tennessee. It is the abode of that renowned environmentalist (and filmmaker) Al Gore.
HOUSE # 2 (model eco-friendly house) is on a ranch near Crawford, Texas. Also known as "the Texas White House," it is the private residence of the President of the United States, George W. Bush.
So whose house is gentler on the environment? Yet another story you WON'T hear on CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC or read about in the New York Times or the Washington Post. Indeed, for Mr. Gore, it's truly "an inconvenient truth." - ZenMojo, on 08/31/2008, -0/+2***** no. ***** NO. We let you remake Reagan into the "greatest president EVAR" despite him tripling the national debt, selling most of our country to China, crippling unions, gutting social support, giving us a massive, bloated, and obtrusive government never before witnessed since World War II, and destroying our environment and infrastructure.
If liberals take a split second's rest from reminding people of how horrible a president is, the Republicans will remake him into G-d's own and give him a ***** airport and put his face on the penny.
We learned our lesson with Reagan, you can rest assured you'll be hearing about how ***** a president Bush was for the rest of your lives. - SLockhart, on 08/31/2008, -1/+3Wow, I had no idea Andrew Jackson was so evil.
- theandy1, on 08/31/2008, -1/+3Ya the article just wanted to give another reason as to why Bush sucks so bad. Most of the idiots who voted for him the last two elections have figured that out by now. The rest of the list felt like it was scrapped together, I don't think Eisenhower should have been on it.
- fluxion, on 08/31/2008, -1/+3i thought it was more of a "we did the 10 greenest presidents a couple days ago, now we'll do the opposite, and too ***** bad if Bush did everything in his power to earn the #1 spot" type of thing
- infinitexx, on 09/22/2008, -0/+1I'm with you on the Nixon thing, its not as if you get green points for doing environmentally friendly things and I hate the planet points for poor environmental policy, these things aren't independent.
- NuclearIsShit, on 08/31/2008, -0/+1yes, because if anyone doesn't agree with you then they are stupid right?
Your "stupider". - NuclearIsShit, on 09/02/2008, -0/+1Do 'em both then, uh... I mean Impeach them both, sorry.
- blast_flame, on 08/31/2008, -6/+7Buried for whining about "sprawl".

http://www.snopes.com/politics/bush/house.asp - Moonkeeper, on 09/02/2008, -0/+1When someone is president in the modern day, so many acts pass and are signed that you can cherry pick any set of laws to say that the president was for/against almost any issue. The biggest environment related acts of the current one was the tax credits for energystar products and the massive ethanol subsidies. Both of which would be considered "environmentalist."
- ZenMojo, on 08/31/2008, -0/+1Exactly...just like...
...
...Feel free to step in here.... - shady8x, on 09/01/2008, -0/+1Of old age? because that is the only way you can put "millions died" into "Bush's rule"...
oh and ruin the world? when have humans not done that?
Ruin USA and millions suffered are acceptable though... - cquinnd, on 09/01/2008, -2/+3Using Algore is like using M$, it undermines your credibilty.
10 times the average energy of what? It helps if you actually know what you are arguing about.
Please cite sources as to the environmental footprint of the Crawford Ranch. - inactive, on 08/31/2008, -0/+1Your comments are freakin hysterical... diggers need to pull the hair out of their cyber asses.
- Mutt76, on 08/31/2008, -1/+2I love how the threw Andrew Jackson in to be bi-partisan. A better title would've been "Here's a random list containing 7 of the last 12 Republican Presidents plus Ulysses S. Grant and Andrew Jackson".
- rahamm, on 09/01/2008, -1/+2What the ***** are you talking about Carters peace deal was between Israel and Egypt, you know the one he won a peace prize for. Read a book please please read a book.
Again you prove you have no clue what you are talking about. - mangosteen10, on 08/31/2008, -3/+4I'm not a Bush fan by any means and rarely get into political debates, but I am a "Green" fan. I read an article some months back regarding numerous other countries in a green alliance trying to get some signed and actionsand measures taken. Can you guess who was the only countrie's President not to have complied or responded? Thanks
- sklter84, on 09/01/2008, -1/+2Pollution and generally ***** the environment is still relevant whether or not man made global warming is real. Just like you guys think global warming kids are retards, you guys are dumb for not being able to make such a simple distinguishment.
