- chrisgarrett, on 09/29/2008, -0/+15A great list there - it's going to take some time to visit them all. It seems everything has an environmental twist lately
- Bukowsky, on 09/29/2008, -0/+11That's a pretty strong list of eco-sites... All of my favorite sites are there, even a few I've never heard of.
- stephhicks68, on 09/29/2008, -1/+6And, a newcomer to the bunch: http://www.peachygreen.com/
- RocquesDiggs, on 09/30/2008, -0/+4It looks like someone took some time to put this together. I have not spent the time to look at it closely, but I know several people are looking for the Eco friendly products now. I hear there is even a place where you can recycle your Crocs footwear. Thanks for sharing the site.
- inactive, on 09/30/2008, -0/+3Two things.
1. Where's George Monbiot's site?
2. Everytime I see something labelled as "green" or "eco-" or "enviro-" I wince. That's because climate change is not an environmental issue. Environmental issues are about saving trees, birds and butterflies. However much I might like trees, birds and butterflies, I'm not going to spend billions of pounds on trying to save them. Rather, I want governments to spend billions of pounds to preserve our way of life and that is what people don't get. The day when climate change is seen as a problem akin to fascism, communism or stock market crashes rather than a hippie movement of people trying to save the polar bears is the day we will start to do something about it. - elephantwaylon, on 09/30/2008, -0/+3elephantjournal.com sucks
- IHaveIssues, on 09/30/2008, -0/+2Also: http://www.greennexxus.com/
- lockr, on 09/30/2008, -0/+1Planet Green is pretty good too, they have lots of stuff on youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/PlanetGreenTV
- LeviTheSmith, on 09/30/2008, -0/+1What about the power to run the servers the sites are hosted on?
- nowhereelse, on 09/30/2008, -0/+1What? A cross between and idea and an alloy?
- superfuxxorr, on 09/30/2008, -0/+1climate change like all religions, is just another ideoloy.
- bethbot, on 09/30/2008, -0/+1how is the health of air, trees, streams, rivers, oceans, wetlands, forests, rainforest and glaciers not part of the environment? We need to stop getting hung up on semantics here. Yes, the terms eco and green might be getting overused or even abused by those who lack comprehensive knowledge on the issues. You seem to know what you're talking about, so you should also know that its not what we call it, its what we do about it that counts.
- inactive, on 09/30/2008, -0/+1Well, apart from the fact that Climate Change is science, and religion isn't.
Huh. - inactive, on 09/30/2008, -0/+1Of course it matters that we should do something, and of course all those things are part of the environment. The question is how to get everyone else to care, and keeping it pigeon-holed with PETA and hippies isn't going to do any of us any favours.
- diggic, on 10/02/2008, -0/+1Thanks for share Chris!
- shiftyroach, on 09/30/2008, -0/+1are these only available on the web?

- smotheredinhugs, on 09/30/2008, -0/+1http://www.ecopop.com should be on this list. they have a really fresh take on this stuff.
